    This company keeps harassing me regarding a property I have never been connected to. They need to do a better job with their research. I will NEVER use or recommend them.

    We do not have a **contractual relationship** with this individual, nor do we have any record of her in our system. It is possible that her information was added by a third party, but we have no direct connection or agreement with her.  

    We take privacy and compliance seriously, and we do not engage in harassment. If this individual received any communication from us in error, we are happy to **immediately remove her information** from our system. To ensure this is resolved, we kindly ask that she provide the phone number or email that received the communication so we can verify and prevent further contact.

    This complaint attempted to get me to forget my mothers name so they could take over her home for foreclosure. When i refuse to forget the documents theyre continuing to use distant number to spam my phone. All day everyday in getting texts and docusign forms to sign. Theyre spamming my phone and e-mail constantly to the point where i cant get communication from family and friends.??

    This complaint is based on the unethical and illegal business practices of the following entity (see screenshot from your website below):Surplus Agents For Americans ************************************* PMB ***************************************************************** ************ A gentleman there, operating by the name **** *****, falsely stated this morning that they are accredited by the BBB, and that they are simply providing helpful information that the county courts do not provide (this is a lie - county courts DO inform homeowners) to homeowners who are in a foreclosure process. These lies are aimed at using all means at their disposal to connect directly with homeowners, only to then work and scheme to get a share of the funds that may be available as part of a foreclosure auction. In this entitys unscrupulous efforts to reach me they falsely presented themselves as SAFA Manatee County, to give the appearance or illusion that they may be affiliated with my county government (see screenshot below). Pure deception. This entity also searched out and made phone calls and sent text messages to at least 4 relatives of mine across the country. Doing so was alarming to my relatives and harmful to me. This business practice is not only highly unethical but illegal. The sought-after outcome of my complaint is that this entity be made to immediately cease and desist their practice of contacting the relatives of individuals who are actively in the foreclosure process.     We are responding to the complaint against Surplus Agents for Americans (SAFA). After reviewing the details of the complaint, we wish to clarify that we have no transactional relationship or legal contract with the complainant.

    No Contractual Agreement
    The complaint is classified as a "contractual dispute," but no contract or agreement exists between our company and the complainant. Without such an agreement, any allegations of contractual violations are unfounded.

    Misrepresentation Claims
    We firmly deny the allegations that our representatives misrepresented our organization or affiliations. Surplus Agents for Americans (SAFA) has never claimed to be affiliated with any county government or clerks office. The use of "SAFA" strictly refers to our business name and does not imply any governmental connection, as such a county is the county researcher department.


    DNC Compliance
    To address concerns about communication, we have added the complainants phone number to our internal Do Not Call (DNC) list. We have also ensured that no further contact will be made with the complainants relatives.

     

    No Basis for Further Allegations
    Given the absence of a contractual relationship, we believe that the allegations made in the complaint, including claims of unethical practices, are without merit. Our business operates in compliance with all applicable laws and ethical guidelines.

    We remain committed to addressing concerns responsibly. However, in this case, the lack of a contractual agreement invalidates the basis of the complaint.

    I am rejecting this response because: my complaint has nothing to do with whether I have a contract or business relationship with the perpetrating company.  It is pure obfuscation for **** to use the lack of a contractual relationship to invalidate my complaint.  I am a citizen and consumer and that is purely sufficient in order to bring this complaint; there is no need for there to be a contractual relationship between me and SAFA.  The point is that I suffered reputational and other harm by the routine and illegal practices of this company, namely, their deceptively posing as affiliated with my county government by introducing themselves on text messages (Ive provided the screenshots so its useless for SAFA to bother denying this fact) not as SAFA but as SAFA **************, and by their illegally and unethically calling and sending text messages to many of my relatives.  **** will pay for their repulsive methods of scouring nationwide data to find and then contact the relatives of those in a foreclosure process - whom it wants to profit off of.  THE ONLY RESOLUTION ACCEPTABLE IS FOR SAFA TO BE FORBIDDEN FROM CONTACTING THE RELATIVES OF ITS PROSPECTS.  It is not nearly enough for them to place me on a DNC list.  I will ensure they never do this to another prospect enduring a foreclosure process.  SAFA wants to prey on such citizens but well find out if they are allowed to persist in their illegal ways.

    S a f a Surplus agents for America I just wrote this down again I just added what I said again I sold my mom's house in the beginning of the year my brother's got through a settlement I'm the only one haven't gotten mine tried to contact them filled each time they say they contact me which was a lie the only way I contacted them was through a third party who has been trying to help me when they did funny contact me they said they sent it to my mom's address why would they do that I've given them my address for times now just yesterday they telling me the affidavit is somewhere in ********** giving me some tracking number if they're the ones mailed it why the h*** I got to do the leg work they also told me that BBB will do nothing it was so arrogant about that no my brother's home got their settlement was not with that company there was what another company *************-ca-01 I've got this to you several times I have no idea what the settlement is because I can't get any answers first they said ****** that they said 38 I am truly confused no I am expecting a answer again from you guys because they were so arrogant about telling and I quote BBB those guys don't do anything unquote . Please check into the situation for me

    Ms. ***************** have tried to contact you over 30 times in the last 9 weeks and have been updating you. I spoke with you yesterday, and someone in ** has attempted to claim the money. To ensure that the real ****** ****** receives the amount, we sent you an affidavit to get notarized.

    We have sent it three times, with the last one being sent via certified mail. We have also texted you the tracking number:

    Receiving multiple calls a day around the same time, 9am, 1pm, and 5pm from the number *****************. Have left very scammy sounding voice messages claiming to be *** from Surplus Agents for Americans trying to reach me (*************************) saying that "my wife" (no name given) has leftover funds from a foreclosure from ********** foreclosure refund department of 2 different amounts. Also not listing the address for the supposed foreclosure. Stating to secure and redeem these funds call ************.

    On the week of January 20 I and several of my family members have recieved spam calling from this company. Including calling everyone tha is not evolved with me directly. I can't reach themto make it stop.
