My truck was dropped off to this business August 5th. I was told 2-3 weeks tops to complete the repairs on my truck. At the 4 week mark he had not even began to start on my truck, he gave me excuse after excuse as to why it wasn’t being done. At that time I have driven by the business 3-4 days a week and the doors were closed and not even open. At this point it’s been almost 4 months, and he’s repainted my truck 3 times, and destroyed the interior of my truck with dust from sanding the truck, I had to spend $150 to have it detailed to get the dust out of my air vents and carpet and seats. 2 of the three times the truck was a different color. And the 3rd time there is now also a dent in the brand new bed side. And all three times has messed it up. This last time, I got it back there is over spray all over the truck; there was paint runs in the repainted areas and the tailgate he put on doesn’t line up. He agreed to fix everything and now has buffed the truck and repaired the paint run, but he told me 6 days ago that the truck would be ready by Thursday and I tried to retrieve my truck Saturday (two days after he said it would be done) and it’s still locked behind the gate and hasn’t moved since the last time I spoke to him, indicating that it’s not done. He ignores my texts, and I can never get ahold of him so at this point I’m going to take legal action on my own for the condition of my truck. He cashed checks without my signature or approval, so for that I’ll take legal action for fraud. I want any and every one to know and to be aware of this joke of a business, and know that if they take their vehicle there to be repaired it’s in jeopardy of being stolen by his family members and crashed, or not complete at all.

On New Year's Eve my vehicle was hit by another driver. We contacted our insurance (USAA) immediately. Insurance did not come and look at the vehicle. They asked for pictures. We were told to find a repair shop and take it. We went to Dickinson in the town we live in. They were paid for the repairs by our insurance. We have had great stress from Dickinson employees not answering phone calls, not returning messages, and blaiming delays on the insurance company. This may be true but we can't get through to a human at USAA either. We do know that Dickinson received payment from USAA. However, for the last two weeks or possibly longer, they have stated that they are waiting on a headlight and a grill to arrive. When I call to check on the status, I can't get anyone to answer or return messages. When we go to the business, nobody is there. Next week will mark the start of a new month without my vehicle that, mind you, I still have to pay for. This makes three full months and we are starting the fourth soon. We have exhausted our insurance's rental coverage and now I'm left to borrow random vehicles from various family members just to get to work. I have hesitated to file this complaint because Dickinson has informed me that they had to do some repairs out of their own pocket because they did not agree with the insurance company. The last time I spoke to someone was three weeks ago. Nobody answers the phone anymore.
