    I entered into a business agreement with *************************** serving as the primary point of contact with Connex Custom Builds LLC. On 11/2/2023, I received an invoice from the company outlining payment details as follows: a $5000 cash deposit, $7000 cash due upon delivery, and a $12500 check to be collected upon delivery. On 11/11/2023, I fulfilled all payment obligations. Shortly after successfully fulfilling all payment agreements to Connex Custom Builds, an unexpected issue arose when *** notified me that my check bounced back. Before I could reissue a new check for him, I received a letter warning notification from my homeowners association on 11/30/2023, indicating that the container home was not authorized on the property, with a mandatory removal deadline of 15 days. Upon promptly informing *** of the situation, he agreed to retrieve the container home and commence the process of refunding the $12,000 initial cash payment I've already made. The container home was picked up on 12/13/2023. I notified *** right away that the container home was successfully retrieved from my property. In response, he acknowledged the update and requested a 30-day period to facilitate my refund - which I had agreed to. Unfortunately, what was initially expected to be a 30-day process to facilitate my refund has extended into a six-month ordeal. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this matter amicably, the company has failed to fulfill their obligation to repay me - leading me to feel that they have no intention of returning my money. This overall long process has inflicted emotional and financial distress upon me. Do not trust this company. I am now put in such a tight situation of pursuing legal actions. They pretty much just ran with my money after they took back the container home.
