    11/22/2023 dropped off a pair if Red Wing steel toed work boots for sole repair. I was informed the repair would take 2 weeks. I visited the shop over 8 time to pick up my boots and was told many excuses as to why they were not ready and it would be another three weeks. It is now 09/13/2024 and the shop has been cleaned out and is no longer open for business. I was not notified of this and the shop still has my boots.

    BBB Complaint, A Plus **************************** Repair, *************************** ****** Pedrosa does not deliver products on the dates promised. My wife and I took a brown leather jacket to him for repair Jan 19, 2024. He made us PAY IN ACVANCE, and promised delivery in TWO WEEKS. We reluctantly paid and left the jacket. A leather jacket can only be worn before the start of hot weather. We followed up on Feb 28. Mar 7, Mar 12, Mar 29, Apr 2, Apr 3, Apr 4, Apr 8, and Apr 9, a total of NINE TIMES. This is well beyond the TWO WEEKS PROMISED, and well into the start of warm weather. ******* finally made an appointment with us, and we traveled to his shop on ***********************************. He returned the jacket to us with the repairs completed, but refused to provide a partial refund for non-delivery of the item UNTIL THREE MONTHS LATER.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS VENDOR. IF YOU MUST HAVE HIM DO A REPAIR, DO NOT PAY IN ACVANCE.

    I dropped my YSL bag and Ugg shoes off to get cleaned because it was suede. He said he could do the job and it would be done in 2-3 weeks. It even says it on my receipt. He required to be paid upfront. I did. And in cash. I called about 4 weeks and nothing no answer. Called again he finally responded that he didnt do it. I showed up the shop was closed. I called again he said it wasnt done yet . I was ******. This was 6 weeks now. I called again now 8 weeks. Hes not answering the phone. I show up multiple days in a row seeing other customers waiting months for their items and hes not there and not answering the phone. He takes your money and your belongings and refuses to give it back. Hes a *****! A thief! Do not trust. He claims hes accredited by BBB. Hes not. Hes a liar

    On October 14th I dropped off several shoes and a purse for repair. I paid him upfront $122.00 and he mentioned it would be about 2-3 weeks. I called him on Nov 12th, inquired about my items, he mentioned it was in the next batch and would be done by Wednesday Nov 16th. Its 1 month now, I called Wed since he never called, and he states he lost his help, the hurricane hit, and he needs more time. He said, give me a few more days, I call Saturday Nov 19th, and got the same excuse again. I called again on Tuesday, Nov 22 and he assured me it would be done by 7pm that evening, for sure. 7pm, comes around no call, no text and he is closed by then. I go physically into his establishment Wed Nov 23rd at 9:30 am, and demand my items and a refund, he states his excuse again that he lost help, and hurricane etc. He goes give me a couple of hours it will be done, I said nope, I need my stuff and have given you plenty of opportunities, if it was so quick to do, it would have already been done. He goes i can assure you no later than 12pm, it will be done, I said I am going out of town and need my items. He goes 12pm for sure and it will be done. I got a text on Nov 23rd @ 3:07PM, that my items were ready. I go in on Nov 30th, to collect my items, gave me shoes that weren't mine, and I had to remind him of the purse, and he claims I didn't pay, and that he didn't put paid on the receipt, I said I paid, I have the receipt and text to prove it. Gathered my items and left. I demand a full refund of my $122.00 for the long wait, inconsistent communication or lack there of, and inconvenience.

    On Saturday, August 20, 2022 I visited this business seeking to have the strap of a Coach purse shortened and was told that it could be done. He measured the purse to determine how much to shorten it and charged me $25 plus $1.75 tax for a total of $26.75. The merchant said that he would send me a text when it was ready to be picked up. After a week, I called to check on the purse and was told that he would get to it the following Tuesday and I should be able to pick it up by Wednesday. The next week came and I called again on Thursday and he shortly ended the call saying he had a customer in front of him and he would text me. I did not received the text in question so I went by the business on Saturday, September 3rd but the door was locked. I called this day and several attempts other days with no answer and a voice mail that was full. I would like a refund and my purse which valued at $150. I added a google review in hopes of getting a response to find other reviews with similar and worse scenarios with other customers. One lady said that it had been 4 months and she still has not received her purse back. Please help. I looked at the reviews before going there and they were all positive but after this issue arose, I found the negative reviews hidden from an initial search.
