    Had landscaping lighting installed by a contractor and the contractor cannot be found . I called the company to file a warranty claim and they said the contractor is the only one that can file a claim . Two of our lights are out and now this company will not allow us to file a warranty claim for their product . They told us we had to find another contractor and that contractor has to buy new lights . These lights are less than 4 years old

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
    We understand the frustration the consumer is experiencing,particularly given that the original contractor is no longer available. We genuinely empathize with their situation.
    AMP Lighting is a contractor-exclusive manufacturer. Our products are sold only to licensed professionals who are registered AMP Pros,and all product warranties are held through the original purchasing contractor,as outlined in our terms and conditions. The contractor is considered the customer of record and is responsible for managing any warranty claims on behalf of the homeowner.

    Because we do not sell directly to homeowners, and warranties are non-transferable, we are unable to process warranty claims submitted by anyone other than the original contractor.

    That said, while the homeowner is not our direct customer,we want to be as helpful as possible. As a courtesy, our team will be reaching out to the homeowner to assist in locating a licensed AMP Pro contractor in their area. That contractor can assess the lighting issue and, if appropriate,work with us to explore warranty options or provide a path forward.
