I purchased a mentorship program called Brandify, marketed by ****** ******** and possibly operated under AvantLights LLC, for $4,000 USD on January 25, 2025. The program was advertised with a $30,000 in 90 days or your money back guarantee and promoted as a high-level mentorship with course access, guidance, and live coaching. What was not clearly disclosed was that the $4,000 was not a one-time feeit was a recurring charge every 90 days. After the initial 90-day period, my access to all course materials and the mentorship portal (hosted via WHOP) was revoked without warning because I did not authorize a second $4,000 payment, which I was unaware would be required. My bank had flagged the transaction as suspicious, which is how I first learned a second charge was pending.I received only 2 of the 4 mentorship calls and had been actively trying to implement the material. Mentorship was provided by a fellow student who had been doing dropshipping for 6 months. Others asked about the refund and were not answered. During the 30 days, I only say 1 person promoted as getting a $30 k result and he was the fellow student - my allocated mentor. ****** ******** presents as an astute and a self proclaimed "nice guy" on ********* but he's a scammer. However, I was locked out of everything despite making a genuine effort. All communication ceased once I asked for clarity, and my requests for support have gone unanswered. This business model is deceptive. Customers are drawn in with high-ticket guarantees, only to be cut off after 90 days unless they continue to pay exorbitant, undisclosed recurring fees. There was no upfront disclosure that this was a subscription model. Desired Resolution:I am requesting:A full refund of my $4,000 USD, or Restored access to the program and mentorship I paid for - as I have nothing to show for it.I believe this business practice is misleading and predatory, and I hope the BBB will assist in holding this company accountable.
