Complete scam. I ordered a 2020 Bobcat T450 from them, signed a purchase agreement & sent payment. Nothing ever showed up and company stopped responding or answering my calls. Their website disappeared too. Currently working with my bank amd the authorities.

Purchased the Case 2016 CX 55B Mini Excavator , serial # NGTN55768 with wire transfer dated 01/09/2024 for full amount, machine is supposed to be here on 01/25/2024, I'll keep post updated. Star rating is only that I do give everyone the benefit of the doubt, after that I let the State Attorney Generals office double my expense.

I've been researching this business and the alternate name referenced by BBB, "Goodway Gear Depot." I noted that Reddit has a file with both names and others like "Goodway Tractor Garden." Dead web sites, https://goodwaygeardepot.com/, https://goodwaytractorgarden.com/, https://www.equipmentfinanceconsultants.com/. They want a wire transfer, and first would ship for free up to 500 miles and now want .80/mile. When I first looked them up, they were north of Jacksonville, then southern FL, and now they are near Panama city.

This company does not seem legitimate. I contaced them through FB marletplace for a Bobcat Skid Steer. The price seemed unusually low but because the machine had higher hours on the meter, I considered that it was a possibility. After speaking with Brian from the Lynn Haven, Florida address by phone, I signed the purchase agreement. Credit card purchases were not accepted. Wire Transfer were the only method of payment accepted. The wire was for the purchase price only and that I would pay the shipping at the time of delivery. After the purchase agreement was signed via DocuSign, I received a phone call telling me that the wire transfer instructions would be sent by email. The odd thing was that Brian advised me that I should let them know before I go to the bank because the wire transfer instructions would "expire in 1 hour". This was an obvious redflag. I expressd my concern that this was not how wire transfers work. It was Bank info that didn't expire. I asked if they were using different banks for each transaction. He replied "Yes". This still made no sense. He further stated that this was a procedure that the company Finance Department preferred to do business. When I asked for a contact in the finance department, Brian advised that there was no direct line to the fiannce department but that he would reach out to them for clarification on the wire transfer confusion and get back to me. He never did After considereing the best approach, I called back to request the wire instructions via email. My intent was to contact the bank to verify who was the account holder. At the end of the conversation, Brian asked if there was anything else I needed. I asked if it was a US Based Company. Brian replied that it was an LLC. I told him that I would need to have the business tax ID to verify its existence and that it was in good standing. He stated that he would get that info over to me. In the end, no information ever arrived and now they won't pickup when I call.
