My home was built by homebuilder ****** just over a year ago and the tiles are now cracking and popping up off the floor. From my understanding, the tiling work was done by Jason's carpet & Tile. The company has given me every possible excuse, from the house setting to now stating that there is an issue with the tile. I have contacted the tile manufacturer (Emmerson) and there is no known issue with the tile. In fact, the tile is available on their website and the rep noted its in stock. The tile is the Albero floresta product. My neighbors that have different tiles are also having this issue. I even have these exact tiles in my bedroom that another contactor installed shortly after closing on my home and have had no issues. They offered to replace the tiles but are trying to do so in the cheapest possible way by offering me cheaper tiles. I assume poor installation as well as cheap materials to hold the tile in place is actually what is causing this issue. This has been going on for months, initially their reasoning was "checking to see if any in stock". This is a health risk having all these broken tiles all over my home and I am fearful for myself and my family.I have an open case with lennar that I submitted a few months ago. Case# ********
