07/07/24 -$125.25 SEABOARD MARINE is dishonest and misleading promised transparency from the company regarding their hiring process. I suggest that clear and accurate order of their pre employment process can prevent misunderstandings and ensure a smoother recruitment process for both parties. But the lack of communication with lack of urgency to resolve the issue has been doing overwhelming and unprofessional **** Card purchase is the last step of the pre employment process my initial appointment was cancelled for pending items. The new appointment was set under the assumption that the pending items were processed I was even assured the reference information I provided was received and submitted. I went to the new appointment and purchased the **** CARD. SEABOARD MARINE requested proof of purchase and then Rescinded the job offer dut to employment references if that's the case the Recruiter should have cancelled the **** Appointment if I was still pending items as before the lack of communication in office is unacceptable and unprofessional and im requesting assistance from BBB for my refund.

May 19th, 2023 $630.00 Seaboard Marine provided a contract/agreement for the amount of $3,315.00. After the cargo was shipped I rcvd the Bill of Laden in the *** of $4,220. I called the company to inquired why the increased and was told the container was overweight and additional charges were added due to the driver had to wait for the container to load and also the container was not ready when he went to pick up. Seaboard and I agreed on the overweight charge; however, the the additional fees that were added for the drop and pick up of the container was supposed to be removed per our agreement. In addition to this, the have the incorrect payment option on the BL. All the amended were suppose to be done early May 2023. Due to Seaboard management delays in sign off the BL for almost two week (as my email attached will show) causing the free days at destination to expired, which in turn accrued $630 additional storage fee. I ask BBB to step in and help me get this refund since they are refusing to issue a refund.
