****** ****** was my marble countertop installer. I purchased 2 marble **** ***** slabs that were sent to leather finish for an additional cost and 1 granite Black Vermont slab at ***** Stones and Intercontinental Marble in *****, ** . I was recommended to use him as the fabricator by Intercontinental (******). The slabs were delivered directly to ****** ****** by Intercontinental and ***** Stones. Three slabs in total were delivered originally. When ****** ****** came to my home to do the installation, he had cut one of the marble slabs incorrectly which resulted in my having to purchase a fourth slab and pay an additional leathering fee for him to re do that small section. With the rest of the material from the fourth slab he was supposed to fabricate a remaining small pantry counter and backsplash. The Black Vermont granite was used for the bar area and a bar backsplash from the granite was never completed. I messaged and called him fr months after and he said he would come and never did. Sometimes I would call him and he was out of town. Then one day I call him and he says "Oh, I forgot to tell you, your slabs broke". I asked him for whatever remaining broken pieces there were and he said there were none. He said the slabs had both broken and there was nothing left to show for them. He then proceeded to tell us that he would replace them. I told him he only needed to purchase one of the two slabs and we could use the same material to finish both areas. Again he said he would come over and over again and then one day he finally came! Took the measurements of the are and asked me for the name and phone number of the place to purchase the slab. That was three months ago. We have called and called and now he says he does not feel like he needs to replace the entire slab, he would pay half. I was able to negotiate the slab down to less than half of what I originally paid for it and now he says he only wants to pay half of that. We need help to resolve this.
