***, As I mentioned in my previous responses to both you and your wife( ******* ********) on ****** and you on Yelp(*** *.), I now believe your continued outreach has crossed the line into harassment. It began after your claim had been fully processed and settled.
To clarify, you received a binding flat-rate estimate of $2,099.00 based on the room-by-room inventory you provided. This estimate covered 797 cubic feet and was accompanied by a detailed written agreementincluding terms, conditions, and insurance optionswhich you electronically signed on May 6th.
On moving day, our crew identified ********************************* your original inventory. As stated in your signed agreement, any increase in item count or volume requires a price adjustment. Our ******* reviewed these changes with you prior to loading, and the revised Bill of Lading was presented and signed onsite.
Regarding damages, you were compensated $295.20 in accordance with the valuation option you selected. You chose the standard coverage of $0.60 per pound, rather than electing third-party insurance, which was clearly offered to you.
We understand that moving is a stressful process, and were genuinely sorry that you felt let down. While we are confident our team acted according to established procedures and communicated changes transparently,your feedback is still valuable to us as we strive to improve our service.

1 starWe hired them to pack and load a 4 bedroom house, and they showed up with a 28' truck . They complained the entire time because it was on Saturday if memorial weekend. They packed very little, didn't load but 1/3 of the house. They left without telling anyone they were headed to the new house (100 miles away). We had no chance to inspect the load or direct them where to put the items. They ripped a leather loveseat, and it wasn't discovered until they were done. We were told they would do 1 load and leave the rest, but we got charged over $700 more for who knows what. They charged $25 per box that they packed, and STILL broke 2 boxes full of curious cabinet valuables. Since none was there, our financial backer paid them right away and we had to rent 2 big uhauls to move the rest ourselves. Total cost for 100 miles was $3700+change! The workers slipped through the front door, left, delivered load to new house, and left with their money. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! I will be filing a report with the BBB. They are thieves! Look somewhere else. Sister is moving across town and she goes 2 men and a truck. It's worth it to go through all the paperwork. They insure everything, even consumers packing their own boxes!!Review fromAngelo A

1 starIn speaking to a State Attorney about this company, which held our furniture hostage and forced us to drain our entire checking account in order to pay by cashiers check, the state attorney told me that we should have called law enforcement, filed a police report and taken it to the state attorneys office to prosecute. ****** LEARNED. When I contacted Americas movers, I spoke to ********, who conducted a detailed virtual walkthrough with my wife. The walkthrough included every household item, as well as the number of boxes we were taking. We agreed that the pickup and delivery date was to be on Monday, February 7. The loading and unloading of furniture and boxes was to take place on the same day. The entire move would be paid by credit card. ******** gave me a written estimate of $3975. We were informed that ****, the dispatcher, would be calling us two days before the move to confirm their arrival. I had requested an in-person inspection of our house and all materials; however, Jonathans response was that, due to COVID, it had to be virtual (Florida was no longer under a state of emergency. THIS WAS A RUSE TO DECEIVE US. When the movers arrived, the driver did a brief walkthrough, and took me out to the truck which was woefully inadequate for the amount of furniture and boxes that had been inventoried by ********. The driver, (Aundrey) pulled out a piece of tape and stuck it on the side of the truck, halfway towards the rear of the vehicle. He informed me that the tape marked the 1242 cubic feet limit, that anything beyond would be subject to an additional charge of $3.50 per cubic feet. This convoluted formula would become the basis for charging us more than $1586, or upwards (42% over the estimate). When the driver and his assistant arrived at our new residence in *******, **, he demanded we pay the full amount owed ($5160) with cash, or a cashiers check not including the 10% deposit. 1 starI hired this moving company to move my furniture. From my apartment for my storage. That's not what took place they did not come equipped. They used my boxes, my totes, my bubble wraps, my paper wraps.They used everything I provide and charged me for it. They're holding my items hostage, and they want more money and did not complete the move. The items belong to my mother and grandmother. This company knows that when they move people's items, it's sentimental value. I even have video to prove. The company needs to be shut down. They're claiming I owe them a hundred and forty eight dollars, but uh, the movers never move my furniture. I filed a complaint with the d o t and everyone I can think of. 5 starsWonderful this is the first time I got quoted a price and the price actually stayed the same! ****, the dispatch guy was great! ****** actually came to the storage facility to check out the contents and approve of the price which was extremely helpful. **** In the office was great with matching shipping quotes and doing the best she could to agree on a price. **** and ***** were wonderful, expert service you could tell that they knew what they were doing. I believe they had over 15 years of moving experience they covered all of my contents with blankets and shrink wrap, taped everything up & nothing got damaged in the move. They did a great job. Im very happy with this company. I would definitely recommend them again.America's Movers, Inc.

I’ve never reviewed a company before but these guys deserve all the praise. To say this company is AMAZING is an understatement!! I just moved from Florida to New York and for starters, I was completely impressed with the level of attention I received throughout this whole process (which was much quicker than I expected). The move costed me a little over $15,000 which included the tip I gave to the movers and I mean it when I say it was 100% worth the price. Being that this is my first time using a moving company, I was hesitant because of all the horror stories I’ve heard about movers.. but this company made me a believer !! I will definitely be referring them to my friends and family. And if I ever plan to move again these guys are on speed dial !America's Movers, Inc.

5 starsI contacted Americas Movers a few months back in regards to a move I was looking to do this month and I just want to say WHAT an outstanding service this company provided to me and my family. I couldnt be more grateful for the service that was provided to me when I booked with them, all the way until the day of delivery. The coordinator ***** was very helpful and communicative if I had any questions and the movers did amazing placing my furniture in my new home.America's Movers, Inc.

5 starsUsually not one to do a review but I must say how impressed I am with the job this company has provided for my family and I. We recently did a move from ******* to ************** and it was easy, smooth and overall an amazing experience. *****, our moving coordinator answered our calls anytime of the day if we had any questions or concerns and the movers handled our furniture with such care. Ive had a bad experience with other moving companies but I will definitely be calling this company again. Thank you for the quality work and patience the crew had !America's Movers, Inc.
