I'm trying to confirm an apparent bill that I received in the mail, that is dated 05/17/2023. Supposedly I'm only left with one week to pay, as the due date is 06/07/2023. I called the number on the bill, ###-###-#### and was connected with what seems to be an overseas collection center. I also tried going to the website **************** which redirects me to ****************. There I tried to make an account to view more information, but the site will not send me a confirmation email to do so.

From the little bit I was able to view, the bill shows as being from Medicomp, but everything else points to *******. The amount on this surprise bill is for $405 after I had a 48 hour holter monitor test ordered by my local clinic back in April. I'm uninsured and was never told that I would receive another bill outside of the Good Faith Estimate I was quoted by the doctor's office. Unless you take CareCredit, I have no way of paying this. You also have my sex listed as female when I am in fact a male and was born one at that.

I keep getting the run around and can't get through to anybody in regards to resolving any of this. I also tried contacting your Melbourne, FL office and kept getting patched through to the wrong department. Please get on top of this as I'm trying to look into this matter but am unable to proceed any further. Otherwise I will have no choice but to consider obtaining legal counsel.

    to me

I'm requesting to close my complaint against Medicomp, as the head of their billing department "Melinda" contacted me today and set things right. She confirmed my bill and responded to all of my questions / concerns. We have agreed to settle the balance for $200 rather than the $405, due to the confusion caused. As such, I am satisfied with the outcome and no longer need this complaint open.

    Thank you for your help!
