    We purchased a Gorilla Ride Cart in July. We drove it, took care of it, and charged outside of our garage due to fire safety. Last week, we left the cart outside and my son woke up to the cart engulfed in flames. No problems, not plugged in, no key in dash, and water good and no corrosion on batteries.We contacted Gorilla Rides and explained what occurred. Our cart burned to the metal frame. If had been in our house, it would have burned our whole house down. Gorilla Ride Agent stated they would do nothing to assist us with our cart loss. We can not prove it was faulty and they can not prove that we did anything to the cart.Buyer beware of lack of craftsmanship and customer warranty. Side note that golf cart charging safety is a must. We took all precautions due to our knowledge and concerns of a golf cart fire. It is all over the internet. We lost our cart to spontaneous combustion in the middle of the night and have a hefty loan to pay off. Thank you Gorilla Rides! Going gas cart and telling everyone about our fire. I wish I could leave no stars.

    ***, We are truly sorry to hear about your golf cart loss. Unfortunately, as you are aware, leaving your cart outside is not ideal and allows for many unknowns. The fire could have been caused by many things such as a shorted out extension cord, an attempted theft, animals chewing on wires and sorting them out, or even vandalism. The fire could have been caused by many factors not in our control. We have no real understanding of what took place nor do we accept responsibility for the damage.

    Where to even start..... Good luck getting anyone to answer the phones, first off. The day I bought my cart the salesman tried to relate with me and claim veteran status, etc. No problem there. UNTIL he started making up what he actually did in the military. Ok whatever. I let that ride bc not my story to tell. Then I think the guy isn't so bad and actually taking care of me and hooking me up. WRONG. He says he's taking all this money off and yet the internet price was cheaper lol. This isn't a car dealership and there is no "Internet Sales Management System" so no reason for that. Again that was my fault but I called them on it because I didn't take delivery yet. They KNEW they got caught and threw in some rock lights that were a $34 set from Amazon and never worked to begin with. They went in the trash. Why didn't I get them to install them, you ask? Because it would have taken them a whole week to get a plug and play reverse light and a set of 4 rock lights installed to a switch. I'm not waiting for that. I can do that. I then had problems with the display module reading my battery levels correctly. Took me about 13 calls back to back to get someone in the phone. They hmm and haahhhhd and didn't have a clue but told me "it happens and will fix itself" (service guy). Yea that never fixed itself. Still reads wrong. Moral of the story is, I should have never bought this knock off golf cart and went with a know reliable dealer. I then found out from The Cart Guys that the whole system can be reprogrammed to adjust the riding aspect and make it much smoother, so I have them doing all my service. Gorilla Rides will take your money and not look back. Do your research and go to a LEGIT cart dealer and look name brand used before doing what I did. These reviews are bought too. The salesman offered me $300 off to write a 5 star review that I didn't even get taken off. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I promise if you have any issues you will instantly regret it. 0/5 stars.

    Bought new April 2021. First time we took it camping with us charging box burnt out. Took a few weeks to replace but they did. Towards the end of 2021 noticed hood paint peeling and bubbling. They then took cart for 3 months to repair. Got it back mid April of 2022.( missing my cover)By the end of May 2022 paint is cracking on hood scoop. We really were not going to push this paint issue at the time because dealing with this company is such a hassle. However june 2022 speed controller broke. Cart would not move but maybe 1mph if that. Then I find out it has no tow/mode switch. Pushing cart was impossible. Took 3 hours to get back to our campsite in the campground. Now it has been 6 weeks since they have had our cart. We only camp in the summer so it's basically been ruined again. I also had store manager inform me these carts are not supposed to be in the sun or rain. We always keep covered when not in use. We didn't even have in our possession the first 3 months of 2022. This company is really shady and I would like my money back. No owners manual either and no one will work on them besides Gorilla. They told me for months my owners manual was in the mail. They are nothing but liars and blame everything on employee turnover. That is not my problem. Also headlights burnt out. They act like its not a problem because it's under warranty but if they keep my cart for months at a time it seems like it is a problem to me! Less than 300 miles on this golf cart!!

    Robert, your cart is under warranty and was repaired as soon as the parts arrived. We cannot control the time that it takes for the parts to arrive from the manufacturer, however we pushed it the best we could. Your cart was repaired within 48 hours of the arrival of the part. We look forward to honoring your warranty for the remainder of the term. Thank you.

    Yes cart was repaired first issue charging box 2 weeks. No problem. Repaint of the hood 3 months. Speed controller 6 weeks. Hood scoop we replaced on our own as it started cracking within 30 days of being re painted. Maybe you need to tell your customers the truth. Virtually all parts come from China and when you go out of business they will be stuck with these garbage carts!

    There was no mention of our cover they lost and no owners manual. Why was i told numerous times it was in the mail. And no tow/ mode switch. Very dangerous when you have a breakdown.

    DO NOT BUY. Terrible customer service. I took my cart in for service. When they returned the cart, the dash was still disassembled, alignment still off. Worse they didn't charge the cart. I took it for a test drive to test the alignment and it died a mile away. I had to walk home with a screaming child in my arms. I called the shop and they said there was nothing they could do about it.

The carts are equipped with gauges that indicate the charge status of your batteries and should be monitored while driving. We did offer to pay for you to have the cart towed since it was after hours. Additionally, we took care of your dash in short order once you pointed it out. We take care of our customers and communication is key. Thank you.
