      My daughter attended this gym and I paid $1825 in coaches & meet fees. We had to leave the gym because they hired a coach who couldnt pass a background check for a USAG membership. When meeting with the owners they told me they would refund me coaches fees which is at least $900-$1000 meet fees were $594 and my daughter only went to one meet with them. They refused to respond back to me and wanted to give me only $300 back. So what exactly did they do with the rest of my money if there has only been one meet to pay coaches fees for??

      Unfortunately, this was a parent who was unhappy when a coach choose to leave the gym. She ultimately decided to leave and follow the coach to another gym. As a result of this, she withdrew her daughter and asked for a refund  of all fees. She signed a contract that clearly states that all fees are non-refundable. The contract also states all athletes are required to give a 30 day drop notice, which she did not do.  Although she was in breech of contract and our policy is no refunds, we tried to end things amicably. In good faith, we issued a partial refund. I'm afraid our good faith efforts were not successful. In addition, her accusations regarding another coach are unfounded and without merit. A coach does not need a USAG membership to coach, only to go to competitions. This particular coach is only coaching, not attending competitions. We thoroughly follow all USAG guidelines. I'd be happy to discuss this further with the BBB if warranted.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      What the offered me is a joke. I paid $1825. I HAD to leave because my daughter did not feel safe with a coach who beats his wife (files attached) when I signed the contract they didnt have a coach with charges and they had another coach. Technically they changed the circumstances of the contract and I had to leave with my daughter. They also told me they tried reaching out to competitions I paid for to try to get me a refund and in reality they never did and actually replaced my daughters spot that I paid for with another one of their gymnats. (Files attached) the charges they are claiming are non refundable should havent even been used. This gym is a scam and everyone should know about it.

      We had a contract, signed which has this client committed to a competition season that all fees are applied to. All contracts clearly explain no refunds for any reason, This client choice to leave our gym after following a disgruntled employee, The meet fees are paid in full by us and are non refundable,  This was her third year with us , Under all same rules. She is now wanting to slander our Buisness for not getting her way. And being a bully yo get a refund. 

       

      All coaches that go to competitions are certified, with all backgrounds, she is speaking of a coach that does not attend competitions. There is nothing to do with her accusations 

      She was refunded $400, as good measure. The check was cashed. Since then this client has been send a cease and desist letter from our attorney because she has attacked our buisness on ****** reviews, yelp and BBB. ****** had to remove 15 reviews that were slander, cursing and attacking the owners . She then had false names and teenagers write false reviews, All removed for ( potty) talk. NOT related to any criticism about her experience . We have continual proof of all the reasons a attorney has gotten involved. We have been is buisness 32 years and this is one unhappy person who chooses to attack people when she does not get her way

      The client sent in information about a coach who was accused of beating his wife.... These attachments sent to BBB. Have nothing to do with our dispute . The coach she is slandering has nothing to do with this situation of requesting a refund. She has also given wrong information, No wife  nor proven guilty.   This was a girl friend who had him arrested and was NOT charged with anything. ******** until proven guilty.   This  was also nothing to do with minor, children or gymnastics, Some ones personal life has nothing to do with this client wanting a refund, She left our buisness on her own with breaking a contract that requires a 30 day drop written notice and  no refund policy . She has broken all cease and desist attorney letters, As we continue to have legal issues with her
