  HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!
  Tried to cancel three years ago. They cancelled my husband and I and one of my children but failed to cancel my other child which makes no sense!!! (They said it was an oversight on my part) Over the last couple of years, I have called multiple times to try to have the charges stopped. Every time I am put on never ending hold. I have been charged monthly for three years for something that I do not and have not ever used. The reason is I am put on hold for so long each time I try to cancel the charges, that should have been cancelled three years ago and do not have that kind of time to waste. No one does!
  As I write this review, I have been on hold for 55 minutes to talk to a supervisor to reverse at least this last months charge at least and get it cancelled once and for all. They make it impossible to cancel. When someone finally answered (after being transferred 4 times) they told me basically that I was wrong and argued with me. Insane!!
  Horrible customer service. Impossible to get anyone to actually do anything.
  The least Christian company I have ever dealt with......DON'T DO IT!

  Medi-Share is significantly cheaper than our **** ***** **** ****** coverage through the large oil company that employed my husband. The choice of Doctors and specialists in our area is huge and the their Telehealth program is WAY BETTER than **** ***** **** ******'s version. We do not have to jump through the time consuming hoops the previous Telehealth company put us through. We are very pleased.

  Medishare took 2 months of share from my checking with no warning and refused to give even a portion back. Hmm, Christian values...... If I could afford what they took, I could afford to pay for private healthcare. Also, Carson who helped us sign up didn't return our phone calls after we signed up. Couldn't access him for answering other questions.
  Please stay away from this outfit, They are not forthcoming at all.

  They covered my cancer treatments better then any insurance policy I've ever had. Plus lots of prayers of members is so uplifting. Knowing my monthly contributions go towards healing someone else is awesome

  I would like to start by saying I have never left a review for anything. But I was upset about this enough that I felt it was worthy. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY FOR MEDICAL COVERAGE. THEY ARE CROOKS!. If I could give a 0 star rating I would. We have had Medi-hare since August of 2021. We had to file a claim with them in late October 2022. My wife had a 13cm ovarian cyst that needed removed in an emergency situation. Medi-share denied it and said that it was pre-existing. Yet ovarian cyst come and go all the time especially if you’ve already had kids, we have. These words have come from multiple doctors that we have talked to. With that said we were denied coverage and are now having to pay $46,000 for a surgery we had no control over. Also I would like to point out over the last 19 months we have paid over $8,600. All for nothing! To make matters worse when we filed an appeal we were told that this appeal would take a couple of months. So after not hearing anything, we contacted them only to find out that they had never filed the appeal. Meanwhile, the hospital is requesting that we start paying on these bills totaling out is over $3000 per month. This is supposed to be a christian organization but from where I stand all they care about is making money, not about christians. The only reason we still have them is because we are waiting on the results of that appeal and once that is done, we will be dropping Medi-share.

  appreciate your concern over the processing of the appeal and apologize for the
  delay. Medical bills are processed according the member-voted guidelines, which
  define pre-existing conditions as signs/symptoms, testing, diagnosis, treatment, OR
  medication for a condition within 36 months prior to membership.  Once a member has been
  faithfully for sharing for 36 consecutive months, a pre-existing condition will
  be eligible for sharing up to $100,000 per Member per year (based on effective
  date) and up to $500,000 per Member per year (based on effective date) once the
  Member has been sharing faithfully for 60 consecutive months. Your wife’s bills
  have been considered on appeal and a letter will be sent when a conclusion in her
  case is reached.  In the meantime, please reach out to the representative
  assigned to your case with any questions or comments.  Thank you very

  My husband and I have been Medi-Share members for over 5 years. This year was the first time I have needed help sharing my bills. I met the AHP ($10,500 deductible) with a breast cancer diagnosis. My oncologist arranged for me to have my infusions at the hospital vs the cancer treatment center he attends. He said it had been difficult to for the treatment center to receive payment from Medi-Share. When the first infusion bill came through the end of January..I was shocked at the price ...just under $100,000! I understand Medi-Share wants to be good stewards of the monies they collect from members but I like to pay my bills promptly and the hospital has not received payment for this bill or the following 2 infusions as of today. I just pray they can negotiate a price so I can focus on my health and not these bills.
  Medi-Share has negotiated and "shared" the smaller bills under $20,000 to which I am very grateful. The staff is wonderful and they are always happy to help in any way and pray for my needs with the most beautifully worded prayers.
  All in all...I would recommend Medi-Share as an affordable insurance alternative ...especially if you are healthy!

  but, in an effort to be the best stewards of the
  member monthly shares as possible, complex or high dollar bills can

  My wife and I have been members for almost 3 years. We had a problem with one of our local hospitals not recognizing Medi-Share, at all, right after we joined so we quickly found a hospital system that would. Since then, we have had very good coverage and bill processing with our family physician, hospital system and pharmacy. I had my first hospitalization recently, since becoming a member, and Medi-Share took care of everything required of them and we only had to pay a very small portion of a very large bill. For older people like us, Medi-Share has truly been a God-send.

  They are just after your 'monthly sharing $$'. The don't tell you things like 'pre-existing' conditions and the fact that you will need to pay a physician every month to cover 'costs'. I go to the doctor once a year for a wellness check and was expected to pay a physician $200/mo AND my $199 monthly 'share'. When I cancelled, they still took out my 'monthly sharing $$' even after they told me they cancelled my auto pay and no funds would come out. What a joke. It saddens me that they call themselves Christians.

  cancel your membership has been completed, and your refund check is being
  processed.  The Medi-Share member-voted guidelines address pre-existing
  conditions, as well as define when bills related to pre-existing conditions are
  eligible for sharing. Before joining, each applicant must acknowledge having
  read the guidelines prior to joining, which is important as Medi-Share is not

  They do not cover anything! Horrible organization. It feels like a scam, and they clearly take advantage of people. I’m shocked they’re still in business. They wouldnt cover a routine stress test for my spouse. He ended up having to pay $10k!!!!!!!!!

  Medi-Share takes
  your concerns seriously and regrets the frustration you have experienced in
  getting your medical bills processed.  As we clarified when we spoke, member bills are processed in accordance with the published, member-voted
  guidelines and each Medi-Share household has an Annual Household Portion (or
  AHP, similar to a deductible) that needs to be met before any eligible bills

  Christian Care Ministry, Inc. (Medi-Share) has been an excellent choice as a health care "insurance" provider for us. My wife and I each have one person home businesses, and Medi-Share has been a wonderful alternative to "traditional health care insurance" concerning cost effectiveness. The service we have received has always been top notch, and we plan on being life long customers.
