I was enrolled for this training class for my security D license. Upon arrival I had to wait 30 minutes for the instructor to come, no update. Another ***** minutes went by and the instructor informed me that they were still running late so I initiated the conversation on rescheduling. Instructor called me over the phone to start the process, however after receiving my personal information I got sent an email stating that I completed the required 40- hour training, which I did not. So come the day of the rescheduled appointment I informed said instructor that I will not be attending due to my documents required for my security license being falsified. I did not want to be associated with a company that says they are going to provide the required 40- hour training and just gives you the certification with no training, that is dangerous and unethical. Security is a job where you have to think about your own safety as well as the safety of your colleagues and peers as well as assessing any dangerous or life-threatening situation to the best of your ability to protect and serve the community. If a company like this is able to do this then how is the community suppose to feel safe knowing that the workers arent trained. They are just given the documents and sent to protect. This was misrepresentation of services if Ive ever seen one.
