      Made a car rental reservation online on 03/07/25 for my vacation dates of 04/11 to 04/14 for a **** Expedition or similar for a total price of $147.03 for which I have a hard copy of the receipt/confirmation. Upon arrival at the business on 04/11 to pick up the vehicle, I was informed by the employee at the counter that they could not honor my reservation without explanation. In obvious need of a vehicle, I asked them what they could do and they said they had a very dissimilar and inferior compact ****** Altima available for what I assumed would be for no more than the same price. After arriving home on 04/15 and checking my credit card statement, I noticed the company had charged me very close to a total of $500.00. This was a classic example of not only the illegal practice of bait and switch but also an illegal and unethical practice of over charging for an agreed upon price/cost.

      On March 8, 2025, I reserved a ******* Accent from this company for 6 days of use. Upon arrival at the business, I noted that it appeared to be located in a very poor area, with people loitering in the streets and trash scattered throughout the *********** I was waiting at the counter to pick up my vehicle, I heard the representative charge the customer a $200 security deposit. I thought that was reasonable, but when I approached the counter as a well-dressed young white male, he attempted to charge me a $2500 security deposit. I have rented cars from other companies before and have never heard of anything like this. I asked if they offer discounts based on my employment in the military/law enforcement. The representative said they did not but lowered the security deposit to $1000 for no reason. He also went on to say that if I did not have proof of my personal car insurance with a deductible of $500 or less, I would have to buy his expensive coverage. They scammed the customer next to me because she did not have her physical car insurance policy with her.The representative charged me much more than the original quote of roughly $7 a day because I was underage. The website does specify an underage fee of $22 a day, but he charged me $30 a day because of my appearance once again. He also said he was upgrading me to a ***** 3. i thought this was nice before I realized it was a piece of junk. See below for the issues. 1. Interior overhead visors loose and did not function properly. Would bounce around and hit us in the head.2. Windshield wipers in poor condition, did not work 3. No windshield washer fluid in vehicle 4. Steering alignment dangerously skewed 5. Axil issues with constant shaking and vibrations 6. Scratches and paint issues all over vehicle 7. Carplay/electronic function issues as well

      To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience with Priceless Car Rental or JC Car Rental since they show under both names. My interaction with the company was deeply disappointing and fell far below reasonable standards of customer service and business integrity. Despite having reserved a midsize SUV weeks in advance, I was provided with a ****** Kicksa subcompact crossover SUVand was inaccurately told that it qualified as a midsize SUV. This downgrade was unacceptable, particularly as I was charged the full price for the midsize SUV I had originally reserved. Furthermore, I was pressured into purchasing the companys insurance at a rate of $45 per day, despite already having full coverage through my personal policy. Additionally, I was surprised by unexpected fees and taxes at the counter, even though I had already paid in full through Priceline. These practices felt deceptive and lacked transparency. When I attempted to resolve these issues, the staff was unapologetic and unhelpful, further exacerbating the situation. The overall experience left me feeling misled and disrespected as a customer. I strongly urge the ******************** to investigate JC Car Rental or Priceless Car Rentals business practices, as they appear to prioritize profit over customer satisfaction and honesty. I would also caution other consumers to avoid this company and seek out more reputable car rental providers. Thank you for your attention to this matter.       We recently rented a car. When reserving online we chose the option not to buy their car insurance and use our own. When we arrived for pick up, we were told they did not accept our car insurance and had to buy their own. I questioned it and the person at the desk, ******* said to spell it, MAPFRE, is our insurance. He still said they did not take it, We felt we had no other choice but to buy their insurance as this location is not at the main car rental building at the airport which is also another misleading fact on their site, and we did not feel safe leaving there with our luggage at night and no car. The next day I researched their policies on their website. Priceless Car rental AKA JC Car rental, in fact does list MAPFRE on their list of car insurances. Which I also feel it is a scam to even have a list. I called to question this *** spoke to the manager **** and he said I would have to email their owner which I see is the same email that they sent my car rental contract to. No one is responding nor will they give me the name of the owner or number or email to contact for compensation in this matter. I feel that this is a scam that they use against customers whereas when I originally asked why they only take a certain list of car insurances I was told that it is because its hard to make claims if there is an accident. We noticed that most of the cars, including ours and have major dents and ours ran with the engine light on. We are requesting that our $300 they took from us for the car insurance be returned but we also feel the entire amount including the rental would be appropriate in this matter

      On August 12, 2024, my husband and I flew to Ft. **********. We were taken to a seedy car lot by a van this company provided. The car lot was jam packed with older, banged up cars. Strangely, this place is doing business as Priceless Car Rental, and JC Car Rental. When we entered the business, the man at the counter asked what insurance I used. I told him American Family. He then informed me that I had to purchase insurance through them, and if I didn't, then I couldn't take the car. This man also said this information was on their website. My husband immediately looked, and this was not true at the time. So here we are in the middle of Ft. Lauderdale with no transportation. I felt that I had no other choice. I was charged an additional $393.57. There was a very large sign posted on their wall about accepting only Geico, etc., but never was this brought to our attention. We prepaid for the car before we left for our trip. Imagine having to spend an additional $400 before you ever start your vacation! When I got into the car, I immediately called Priceline (not to be confused with Priceless). They agreed there was nothing on this companies website indicating an additional need to purchase insurance. When we returned the car on August 19, 2024. The sign had been literally ripped off the wall. I checked their website and it was down for maintenance.

      I rented a car from JC Car Rental, and upon arriving at my destination they informed me that they did not have a car available for me. I have disputed the original transaction for $104.26 with my credit card company, but as a result of the company not having my confirmed rental car available, I had to pay $390 at another rental car agency. I am seeking compensation for the additional expenses that I incurred as a result of JC Car Rental not honoring my reservation.

      We came to rent a car. Due to circumstances we got to the shop around 915am ( car was reserved for 8am ) The VERY rude and unhelpful manager insisted he could do nothing and they don't rent ro walk ins. I called priceline, and they were just as confused. I then find out the Payless website, they give a 2 hour grace ******* I showed the manager and he said they only give 1 hour ( even though my car was already paid for ) He FINALLY offered to let me reactivate my original reservation if we paid him $50.I have NEVER experienced this with any other company. BUYER BEWARE

      Ordered a car rental on 11/29 for $60.98 and received confirmation. According to docs sent, my insurance met qualifications. Upon arrival, they wanted another $200 to rent the car, saying my insurance won't work and quoting limits $200k over what was indicated in written docs.I asked to cancel the reservation, but they said they were unable to refund and I'd have to call in. Called in multiple times, after being on hold for 20 min call would drop. When I finally got ahold of someone, they said they were unable to cancel because time of rental passed and it was non refundable. This whole experience ate up an entire morning going back and forth to the airport and felt like a real bait and switch. There was no prior indication that extra charges could be added or be that high. Does not appear from reviews that I'm the only one. Also, they have recently rebranded to 'Priceless Car Rental' but that business is not listed with BBB and their contact info is still JC Car Rental.       On September 14th I paid online reservation through Decolar (Despegar) with JC Car rental ***************************, for a SUV car rental from November 8th to November 23rd. My credit card was charged in ****** where I live. On the day of this paid reservation I provided the time of pick-up at the airport 10PM. I provided the flight number and time of arrival 09:38PM as asked by ******* to provide the car agency. When I arrived at the point of pick-up I waited for almost two hours, without a phone to make a call. I was told by another car rental van that the JC car rental was closed at that time. At the airport another car rental agency offered an outrageous price for a car rental if I didnt want to stay without a car, and they said that the fact the JC car rental was closed was not unheard of. I could only contact Decolar online during my traveling, which answered that they could not get in touch with the car rental agency, and later answered that JC car rental wouldnt cancel or refund my payment.

      I have tried to contact them again, verifying that they had agreed to refund me via screenshot of the email conversation. Still absolutely no response whatsoever. en a response from the email. I was responded to in the beginning and told that I would be receiving a refund. This place is such a scam. They do bookings through Expedia and Priceline, and do not have all information on the Website. When you get there, you will be charged for insurance and other costs you were not expecting. Then on top of it, try to charge me for damage that was already there! Then admit their fault, and then not refund me? This place needs to be put out of business!!!
