    On February 23, 2023 I purchased a 2019 ****** corolla from AJ walls Inc. I purchased it via financing with a down payment of $500 and a total vehicle price of $17,995. I believe I was scammed by AJ walls Inc. because I was making on-time payments on the vehicle of $540 a month with receipts as proof and on ********************************************************************************************************** their paperwork on their end, and they asked me to turn in the car, I agreed as long as they were to give me back my down payment on May 24, 2023 they came to my house with a paper and asked me to sign a paper stating I cannot *** them. I declined and disagreed. They then proceeded to jump in the vehicle and take the vehicle that I had made my payments on which is an illegal repossession. I follow their contract by keeping full coverage on the vehicle making payments on time and they still took my car. I have everything via text message. I also have video surveillance that my ring camera caught the day it happens , I called the police and filed a report. They told me that I would have to contact the Better Business Bureau to file the complaint. I have the contract when I purchase a vehicle and all of the receipts of payment I was at no fault for this and I believe I should be compensated accordingly.

    Business Response

    Date: 08/03/2023

    Good morning;

    In regards to ******************, her account was determined high risk due to the irregularity of her payments, ****************** was offered a refund as you can see on the letter served to her from our legal department as long as she agreed to return the vehicle voluntarily . Upon my arrival to he residence  I showed ****************** the letter where it stated the refund given to her in cash as she requested, will be all and any funds AJ Walls, *** was liable to refund her, since she had in the past used threatening language as well as other means of intimidation. Upon her refusal I proceeded to take possession of the vehicle as it was already reposes by her surrendering the keys to me directly. Although ****************** refused to sign the letter showing receipt of the cash refund that day.  I approached her the next day to attempt to refund her once again, at such time she chose to use aggressive and threatening language as well as demanding now $2000.00 for pain and suffering as she described it or else.

    ****************** behavior left me no choice but to serve her with a Cease and desist letter which I see she continues to violate, further more after inspection of the vehicle t was determined ****************** had caused damages to the vehicle in excess of $7500.00 which I had chosen not to persuade .

    I personally tried to assist ****************** however there's only so much I can do to assist her, at this point by not pursuing her legally for damages as well as harassment is a way of helping her even thought she may not see it that way. However if  she persist on her attempts she will be forcing my hand to do so, ****************** is a single mother who in my opinion  does not need aggravation let alone a legal matter causing her thousands of dollars to defend which may very well cost her 10's of thousands of dollars which I will then request the courts upon granting of final judgement against ****************** to garnish her pay directly from her place of employment at Longhorn Steakhouse located at: *************************************************** ************* where it is my believe she is a manager.

    I wish her  the best and good luck on her future endeavors.

    Respectfully yours;

    Dear ******************,
    Our office represents AJ Walls, *** (AJ Walls). This letter serves as an immediate demand for you
    to cease and desist all threats and harassment towards AJ Walls, its owners, employees, and customers.
    AJ Walls has advised that on May 24, 2023, the 2019 ****** Corolla in your then possession was
    repossessed due to financing not being approved. AJ Walls is likewise disappointed that the sale of the
    above-listed vehicle was not completed for your benefit. The failure of this transaction was due to no fault
    of AJ Walls. The decision to reclaim possession of the 2019 ****** Corolla is a business decision that was
    made due to the failure of the purchase contract with banks.
    Therefore, AJ Walls is fully prepared to refund you $500.00 deposit, however as a matter of
    financial bookkeeping you must acknowledge receipt of such funds by signature when delivered to you.
    If you are unwilling to sign for such funds, AJ Walls will keep those funds in trust up and until you
    so choose to sign for the release.
