    I called ******************* the owner of Cornerstone ******************************** for an estimate on custom fabricated imitation keystone planters for a commercial building in ************. He came and took measurements and then presented me with a written proposal which included sketches for 10 planters. I then signed the proposal and after making him a company vendor I wired him a deposit of $4,081.98 to start the job. At first **** was great on email, texts and by phone. He came recommended and was very pleasant to work with. The deposit was made on 2/10/23 and the planters were promised at the end of February or early March. Once the job was near completion he even sent me pictures of the planters.When we got to early March we settled on an installation date and when I called to confirm the delivery I got the run around. First the excuse was COVID, then it turned into something else. After two more weeks of back and forth with them not responding to messages we decided to drive by the company and speak to them in person. When we arrived we saw the cement yard had been completely cleared out and the office area had been ransacked. Papers strewn all over the floor of every room. I had visited him there before and that was definitely not the case. It was a fully functioning business.I've tried calling the business and the owner and have had other people call as well. My calls were blocked and when I had a team member call he got an answer. The guy said the company moved to Homestead and he was given another phone number which didn't lead anywhere.
