Placed an order on Amazon with their DBA "B2C Auto Parts" on September 1st. The item was marked "Shipped" on September 2nd, but the provided tracking number (**********************) was fake - this tracking number was for a package that was dropped off in *************, ** on August 26th (almost a week before I even placed my order with them) and delivered to an address in *********, ** on August 29th, 4 days before I placed my order.Upon confronting them about this, they claimed the "carrier has misplaced your item" and that they no longer had any in stock. As evidenced by the tracking number provided, the carrier never misplaced my item - they simply didn't ship it. The item in question was also still in stock and being sold by them, but they had raised the price by $4.This seems to be a racket they run quite frequently, as they've amassed 35+ negative reviews on Amazon detailing this exact same behavior over the past week. And that's only the people that have 1) noticed that they've been scammed, 2) attempted to follow up and, 3) have gone through the trouble of leaving negative feedback.I requested that they fulfil my original order, and they have since given me the runaround. They said they were going to issue a refund, but have not. Amazon refuses to do anything.
