I contracted this company in July 2023. I wanted to do a refreshment of my wood floor in the entire house, which was in good condition. The conversation started talking about sanding, protection paint. However, this contractor recommended a faster and easier, but not cheaper way to refresh the floor using laminated vinyl floor. We went ahead and agreed without signing a contract, the price agreed was $5.99/sq/ft. summing up a total of about $7000, including removing baseboard, reinstalling, painting, installing a new door for bathroom, removing and reinstalling sliding glass door.A week after the all job was partially done, (she left on vacation for 3 weeks - some finishing were missing - a step was not installed, etc..) the living room old wood floor, starting to pop up through the new vinyl floor. We told her, she came back after her vacation, the damage was so bad, she had to redo and remove the entire floor she had previously done in the living room, and more so, this time she removed the wood floor underneath, after the inspection of the vinyl seller, who let her know that she did not do the installation properly, as she had to take some steps prior in order to avoid what was going on, so then she took off the brand new vinyl, removed the existing wood floor, add some 8'x4' wood panels and plastic protection. The fact is that my house, is built with a crawl space, and by covering with plastic, she created a pocket of humidity which caused the house to moved, doors are not closing, the bathroom tiles are moving, the kitchen step was not installed properly, it's now a hazard to any guests coming in my house in addition that is already broken. She installed the new bathroom door, and now this door cannot close or being locked. We send her emails, she ignore them and never replied.
