Their bed causes physical pain and they will not refund our money without jumping through ridiculous hoops. I ordered their bed, tried it for a couple nights. Both my wife and I experienced severe pain both nights. There was no way that we could spend another night on this bed. The only way to contact these people for a refund is through email. When I used email to explained our situation, they blew me off, told me that I must "get used to" and "break in" their bed for 30 nights before I can make a return. I have attached their response. There is no statement of requirement in their response email or on their FAQ on their site. I called their order line and was able to speak with a manager. He told me to go the site and read their warranty/"HASSLE-FREE returns" link. I have attached an image of what that looks like as well. It's not easy to read and not clear. It'ss the most confusing, illegible, "hassle-free" trial period statement I have ever seen. Additionally, the trial period in their FAQ section and their statement section states that the trial is for 120 days. It really isn't a trial period of 120 days if the first 30 days have a break-in period. They're claiming you can't possibly know if the bed will work for you (or not) unless you spend 30 horrible nights on their bed. After that, you can make a determination, for 90 days, if the bed will work for you or not. This is clearly disingenuous. At the bottom of their email it states their mission:"At WinkBeds, our vision is to build the world's most people-centric mattress company...we want to bring...integrity and above all, humanity to the mattress-buying and owning experience."All I want is refund and for them to take back their horrible bed. If I can find where this company is based, I will be filing a complaint with the state attorney general as well. It may or may not go anywhere, but it will at least be on file in case anyone else runs into this issue.Business Response

The day my original mattress arrived we saw a stitching issues and sent Pictures of it to the company as well as called. They said not to worry with the warranty would cover the problem. Well we ended up having more stitching issues and they replaced it vs repairing. Well the new replaced mattress which like original has always had a mattress cover on it has stitching coming apart even worse. Sent pictures again and they claim the friction from mattress covers will do this. I am 65 yrs old and NEVER in my life had such issues. I have a mattress over 20yrs old in another room that is still in perfect condition. We only replaced because we went to a split King! They say no warranty after replaced mattress so their warranty is gone after 1 yr on a mattress that was not cheap. I can't even say it's from weight since I don't even weigh 100lbs, or children because no children are in my home. ******** was turned as there directions as well. What kind of warranty or customer service is this. They Should have replaced before warranty on day one knowing there was a problem. To me it seems to be an issue with the tension or something with their machines not a mattress cover rubbing the mattress which is to protect it. Would they blame the sheets too? This was Winks response to me again. So no matter that the mattress was damaged at time of delivery and told me not to worry because of warranty even though I wanted replaced. It seems to me they knew a problem was there and figured they would replace it not to long after and then would no longer have a warranty. I consider this an issue and they will find any excuse. I purchased a winkbed and foundation. There are slats on the foundation under the mattress and they keep falling down and then the bed falls down. I asked for a refund and they approved a refund. They said it has to go back on the card that was used to purchase it. I had to get a new bank card reissued so, it's the same account. And now they are saying they can not give me a refund. Now I can't use my bed until I get this fixed and can purchase a new foundation locally.Business Response

the original transaction was in October 2022 ... and have been trying to resolve the issue since.. emails and phone call with little to no response or solution.. original price $1749.00 purchased a mattress and it came deformed .. was told to give it 6 months to relax... but the free trial was only 120 days.. the bed is deformed on the ends never relaxed .. bent from being in the box... but the only thing that they have a warranty for is sagging of 1.5 inches or more ... WHAT??? ... any way it does sag it does cause back issues for both my husband and i so much we had to go out and purchase another .. it sags when we are in it ... but 2 inches haha should i take a pic of that?? and send it to them ... and their only solution is to replace it with the same thing... what would i want another for?- the worst thing is they only have email no phone calls really ... unless you bring it to sales persons attention...takes a while for them to respond if they do after several attempts... and then solutions are limited .. which im sure they do on purpose..... free trial has ended ...communication is poor ... representatives are rude!!order number... #******* basically ... they really just put me off until there were no options available .. but to accept $200 off... they have the rest of my money and we have a mattress we can't use.. beyond the pictures attached the bed has tremendous sink for my 100 pound frame.. and husband 150 ,,, only thing offered was... send pics without a body on the bed proving 1.5 inches in sag ...and we then can get a new bed at 50% off ...WHAT?????.... this company is not customer friendly nor legit ... constructed very very very poorly... very poorly!!! We tried our best to work with this customer, who purchased almost two years ago. The pictures showed don't illustrate any kind of defect, its only wrinkles in the outside fabric. Nevertheless, we extended the customer's trial period two times and gave her a courtesy refund in the interest of good business. Hello ... you gave winkbeds more than 10 days to respond and even reached out to them 2 times .. ...HMMM.. and not me.( email and internet not working due to weather)... but..with that being said ... they are not addressing the ssue .. the issue was that there were deformities in the mattress.. and they asked me to wait 6 months until they( the ends of the bed) relaxed .. but they never did .. in which during that time they full well knew the 120 trial period would lapse ... even though trial period was extended they told me to continue to wait ....i believe at least a substantial discount off this bed if not full refund would be in order .... .. the bed arrived completely deformed... as well as the most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in.... again .. they have gotten time to respond to you and to me ... several times ... unfortunate .. i had to take care of my father away from home for most of the trial period as well ..as you can see in the photos that is how the mattress looks still today .. and needs to be addressed with at least another partial refund if not full... this company is not taking responsibility for there misfit bed i received ...Customer Answer

I ordered a king ******** from *******. It was great until recently I noticed that it was sinking more than usual in the center when lying on the ********. It is noticeable and I started to also get hip/back pain and I wasn't getting the same quality of sleep that I once was with the ********. I contacted Winkbeds customer service and described the issue. The response I received was to measure the sink when no one is lying in the bed. That wasn't my issue and because the sink wasn't to their defined standards, no support would be provided. This was an expensive ******** with a "lifetime" warranty. I am rejecting this response because this was not an amicable resolution and available option. That option is available to anyone, regardless if they are happy with their mattress. To be clear, and all readers should know this, the response from Winkbeds was dismissive and there was no attempt to provide a meaningful resolution. You did not do me a favor and this was, unfortunately, my best option available financially and the time constraint I was working with. Again, the warranty provided is inadequate for the cost of the bed; I have spent nearly $3,000 with Winkbeds. Also, you do not provide a warranty for the replacement bed. Finally, I ask you again, where can I submit an online review for your product? Why is support only available online and we don't have a live person to call?

We have been sleeping on other beds in the house because my husband and I have not been able to sleep on the bed for a year and half. I made sure we rotated, we bought a brand new frame and bed and confirmed the weight that it would support before getting the mattress. Im in awe the level of unprofessionalism of this company. I requested a supervisor to call as well- and received no response. The bed sags and doesnt support and we have both had lower back issues since that happened. We are both healthy, physically fit but everytime we sleep on this bed we cant get up. Dont waste your money. Their claims are bogus - there can never really be a physically damage of sagging unless that was intentional and you dont cover misuse so they are just luring people in yet dont want to stand by their product. We purchased a Winkbed in late 2020 with the assurance of a lifetime guarantee. The bed started sagging within two years, but we kept rotating, and trying to make it work. I finally contacted ******* about the issue, but the exchange (from the Winkbed site) was lost. So I reached out again, via email, in July 2023. They had a lot of excuses and ways for me to get a new mattress for 50% off, but basically, if your mattress is not spewing coils or foam, you are out of luck with sagging. The "Lifetime Warranty/Guarantee" is really a 120 day one, which is exactly the amount of time you have to make a final decision. Their method for measuring sagging is hilarious, and not what other mattress companies use for measurement. I know I am probably never going to get my money back, although it would be grand, as we are now having to mattress shop to replace our three year old mattress. I would even be thrilled to get half of my money back, so I could use it for a new mattress. Terrible company. Terrible customer service. Really, really disappointing.Business Response

Our mattress has severe degradation with normal usage and proper handling. Thus, our mattress is guaranteed. Unfortunately, we do not wish to have another mattress, because the mattress is so poorly constructed. We simply want our money back. We would even be willing to take half of what we spent, just to be rid of this mattress. It is THAT bad.

I am rejecting this response because:That warranty claim covers defects that include deterioration of the mattress NOT due to burning it, tearing it, etc.
The mattress has completely sagged on the sides and the middle. It is not possible to properly measure the sag on the sides, nor is it possible to measure it in the middle due to the tufting placement AND the company's requirement that you NOT include the tufting int he measurement.
Winkbeds is a scam company. I am happy to contact an attorney if necessary. I do not want another poorly made mattress for 50% off. I understand that the mattress is three years old, and I am not requesting a full refund. I merely want a partial refund so I can purchase a mattress form a reputable company.
