I used Shyft for my move and 1 month before my delivery, I was told the balance of my bill was not paid, although I paid Shyft in full. I went to what I thought was a trusted website and found this company. The company had to have known they were in trouble, while their employees conducted business as usual, leaving people like me out of pocket (again) so the moving and storage will delivery my furniture. Going out of business and still taking on new customers. There should be some recourse, this can't be the first time something like this has happened.

Why arent there more reviews. I used Shyft to broker a move that started with packing, moving our goods from ** to **, place items in storage, and now that we are ready to schedule deliver, Shyft is where to be found. What recourse do we have. The moving company told us that Shyft filed for bankruptcy, and did not fully pay the moving company.I know Im not the only one affected.

Im a moving affiliate with shyft moving. I have done a ton of moves on the behalf of this company. I have never had any issues with this company as an affiliated member. But recently all that positivity as SHIFTED!Recently on October 10th we all received an email out the blue. The email (which is attached) informing us that we would no longer get paid our usual way ( 1-3 days after rendering services) we was told Net30/60 would be the new form of payment. This was a bit strange to be told this without giving a heads up memo or the option to choose to continue with the company. I found this business move to be a bit strange. It was a red flag for me. To chose to complete a few moves that was on my to-do list before canceling the remaining moves left.I had a recently employed employee reach out to me and informed me that the company was entering bankruptcy.(On December 5, Shyft Moving **** entered into an assignment for the benefit of creditors ****** an insolvency process under state law (Assignment), and assigned its assets to Shyft ****** LLC (Assignee). The Assignee will be sending notifications to creditors which will provide information on the Assignment and a website where they can file claims. In the interim, the Assignee is monetizing the assets of the business and will use the proceeds of such sales to address the claims. At this time, there is no estimate of what amounts will be available for credItors.)Now as a moving affiliate we our left with the burden of not being paid for previous render service. My company is about $15,000 in negative now going into the holiday season for jobs we did back in October. As a small business owner this is flat out absurd. The company knew there boat was taking on ************** from alerting the coastguard. They chose to keep sailing into the deep blue sea. I simply meno/communicate could have prevented this. The blame shall fall at the top at the ************ down.I write this post to inform the public

Several months ago, I found a reference on the **** website and contacted Shyft to arrange for a local move. Unfortunately, on the day of the move the arrangements I made with the Shyft representatives did not take place as discussed. Additionally, after several months of discussions and text messages Shyft has neglected to be empathetic and/or take responsibility for the issues I encountered with the moving company as promised. 1. I paid for a 4 to 5 hour move with four movers and a truck. I got two movers and a truck and the move consumed 10 hours of my day for a two bedroom apartment. 2. The movers did not wrap my furniture with blankets and several pieces sustained damaged.3. My queen ********** were not crated as I was told they would be and despite the fact that I enclosed them in cloth and heavy plastic mattress bags, they were dragged on the ground causing the plastic bags to be torn and the ********** to become dirty and unsanitary.4. Last but not least, the head mover pulled one side of my headboard away from the back of my nightstand as opposed to removing the bolt and nut first rendering it unable to be reattached again.
