    There was a flood in my town house and urgently called a company TITAN PLUMBING REPAIR to evaluate the origin of the flood. They said that it came from the pipe under the house and a trench had to be opened across the house in order to fix it. I paid $675.00 for the inspection. Immediately I searched in the Internet about other options and called PRO PIPE LINING (****) who offers a nondestructive solution. I sent tem a floor plan of the house to give them an idea and they would charge $9,500.00 for the repair or service that would be performed some days after on August 29, 2024 so I made a CREDIT CARD PAYMENT August 23 FOR THE AMOUNT OF $4,750.00. When the inspector of the ***************** came, he immediately discovered that the water didnt come from any pipe under the house (I was deceived) but from a leaking of the refrigerator which he fixed just closing the valve or tap and the problem was solved. So I called PIPE LINING **** ****) and explained that obviously I didnt need the service (days before the service was going to be performed) and to please credit my payment back to my credit card, He said that it was going to cost me $1,300.00. I didnt accepted and then he said that he was going to try to sell the material to some other customer. As I found out that I was not dealing with serious people I called my credit card and asked for a charge back and the opened a dispute. Of course that they put forward a number of reasons. One reason was the payment that I made to them, another reason was the payment that I made to TITAN PLUMING REPAIR, but the main reason is that in their terms (I never saw it) it says that no payments are refund after deposits are done. But it also says that credit cards payments cannot be canceled after work commences. I PAID WITH MY CREDIT CARD. The work did not commenced, they never came to my house, I never saw them in person, I didnt receive any product, merchandise, service, study. Nothing at all.
