In august 2023, I received a phone call from ***********************, purported owner/operator of Big Waves Tree Service regarding trees that he was cutting which would potentially fall on my fathers yard. **************** was cutting trees for my fathers neighbor. I went to my fathers house shortly thereafter to meet **************** to determine which trees he was cutting. At that time, I asked **************** how much he would charge to also clean the palm trees on my fathers property. **************** said $175 to clean the palms. **************** asked that I pay him at that time and he would return the next day, because he had to finish cutting the neighbors trees, and would do the job at my fathers house.I told **************** I could not give him the full amount, but would give him $100 then and the remaining $75 when the job was finished. The next day, **************** called me and stated that he had lost the tool he used to cut the palms. He said he would look for it when he got home. The following day **************** claimed he found the tool and would be returning to my fathers house to clean the palms. That same day, **************** called me to tell me he cleaned the palms at my fathers house and requested the remaining $75.00. At that time, I sent **************** the remaining $75.00 va zelle. That same night I went to my fathers house to inspect the trees and to my surprise, they were still uncleaned and unkept. I sent **************** a text message that night and asked him why he had no completed the job with photographs. **************** did not respond. The next day I wrote to **************** again, and was finally able to speak with him. According to **************** he was unable to do the job and would not give me a reason why. He further stated that he would complete the job after September 1. After he acknowledged that he did not do the job, I requested a refund from **************** and he refused to return the money. I then had to hire another company to clean the ****************** needs to be investigated
