  This company makes appointments months in advance and then cancels them at the last minute, or tries to reschedule them. If a customer complains, the owner becomes abusive and tells the customer to take their business elsewhere. In my situation, my husband had heart surgery on a Tuesday and his first cancer treatment on the following Thursday. Our appointment with Southern Tree Experts ( made months ago) was for Wednesday. They called a few days out and wanted to switch dates. When I explained my husbands medical situation, ***** (the owner) got very nasty and told us to go elsewhere. NO professionalism or concern for customers whatsoever! This company is a travesty.

  ****** , as explained before Im very sorry you feel this way . ***** ( the owner) never spoke with you besides the time of your estimate . We simply tried to move your date up one day because you requested a morning appointment and we had other jobs in your area . The reason you were told very nicely that maybe you need to hire someone else is because you called our office threatening and demanding and was very rude and nasty to our receptionist. All of our calls and messages are recorded , so we thought it was in our best interest to not serve you and have further conflict after the way you reacted because we asked to move your job up one day .

  When the crew arrived(on time) ***** took them around and showed them the trees to come down. These guys safely and with expertise took 3 huge trees and 2 small ones down. 3 of the trees were close to the house. It was great team work all the way. They were finished in 3 and a half hours. I thought it was going to be at least a day maybe two. Again if not for the **** WORK it would have taken so much longer. Not one limb or one leaf was left on the ground. Thank you! They have all my work when needed.

  We contacted them in March to do some tree work. ***** came out & said he could do it. We never received a written quote, only a verbal one. We scheduled the work in August. The first date no one showed up. No phone calls from them either. We had to call every time we needed updates on when they were coming. The next week they did show, but we had to call them to find out what time. We were told that the work we wanted would be $500 MORE and it was what was verbally quoted. ***** called my husband a liar and told his crew to leave. The crew did and NEVER bothered to tell me they were leaving or why. I will never recommend this company to anyone. The whole company is very unprofessional from the owner, office staff and crew.

  BRAZO ZULU! A job well down. ***** and crew arrived on time and immediately wasted no time to get to work. There where eight small oak trees ( ****" dia.) and two oak monsters (18"- 30" dia.) that where close to the house. Within less then 4.5 hours they had all trees down. The big pieces where hauled away in a truck and there "beast of chipper" filled up the back of another. They ground all the stumps to below ground level and they raked and cleaned the entire area. When they where done you can barely tell there was anything there. I commissioned five estimates from all local tree services and Southern Tree Expert was the most reasonable and the least lead time. I would highly recommend Southern Tree Experts for your tree issues and problems. I have three trees in backyard that I want gone in the winter and I will be calling them in the near future.
