  I was first approach by the sister of the owner of Broken Oak Land & Tree LLC, she told they can do everything in my yard for $60,000 and I, **** ******* agreed to that. I was told the only think I would have to do is to rake leaves. Then my next door neighbor had a bunch of stuff (trees) that was basically right on my property line, so I agreed to remove trees of his property for $40,000. They did not finish either my property or my neighbors. As a result I have gotten a price from another tree company to finish the job. I don't wish to make a big deal but this is not right. They need to give me $15,000 back or come back up here and finish the work as they promise.

  **** ******* hired BrokenOak Land and Tree LLC to take care of the removal of trees and debris due to Hurricane Helene the first quote  provided by Brittany Schulz was $60,000 but was then revised by Daniel Hampton (owner) of $99,000 after looking at the job and what was required. All debris was taken to the road per the homeowners instruction. We have a signed contract for #4 trees removed from main dwelling for $32,800.00 and #10 trees removed from other structures on the property for $66,200 bringing the total to $99,000.00 we completed the contracted work and went above and beyond doing more then even what the contract stated. We were on the job site for a total of 7 days with 3 machines and 8 workers. according ****s own Facebook post over 200 trees were taken off the property. On the final walk through, **** kept insisting on adding additional work that wasn’t stated in the revised contract. There was one tree that was left but we were made to believe that that the particular tree wasn’t on his property and all stumps were to be left. We where given final payment from homeowner Kay (wife of ****) and was told that the job done was great and to leave before **** added anything else. We had other jobs lined up to begin and we had completed what was on the signed contract. Daniel and Brittany had several conversations with **** through out the job about the scope of the work and everything was completed to and above the contract.

  It was a totally rip off of the job that Broken Oak Tree and Land did at my house for $99,000.00. They read my insurance information that my adjuster said i was getting for my property which was $99,000.00. I have retain an attorney to  "in suit"  against Broken Oak Tree and Land LLC.
