    Aug 18 Register my son for Youth Hoops Basketball Fall team, Sept 22 Tryouts to determine teams. Sept 25 receive roster, surprised 5 of boys are signed up w/same adult. Sept 29 game was fine. Oct 6 game 1 of boys got into argument with ref, almost canceling the game. Oct 13 canceled due to hurricane. Season not extended. Oct 19 email to offer open gym since no teams. Later that day, received email w/game times. Oct 20 upon arrival, told to ignore email, they have teams. However, they had 2 teams not 4 and the ref was coaching. Oct 26 emailed to confirm he will have a team. No response. Oct 27, sick so did not participate. Nov 3 again, no team, no coach. Ref pulled 2 teams to play & told my son & 3 others to play 2:2 alone. Nov 3 I emailed main org, they reached out with no response. Nov 16 I emailed local org. No response. Dec 3 I emailed again. ******** responded stating they sent weekly emails regarding games. Coach quitting was beyond their control and we received a jersey as promised. Dec 3, I emailed back stating yes I got automated messages about games but none stating the coach and most of team left. So automated messages about ****** playing times we irrelevant. I paid for him to play on a team and he no longer had a team. I requested a refund. Email was ignored. Dec 8 and Jan 14 I emailed again asking for a refund. No response. Jan 25 I was able to find a phone # and texted a summary of what happened and asked for refund. It was ignored. Feb 7 texted again asking for a refund and stated I am tired of being ignored. Feb 7 He responds "Hey ****" My name is ********!! then texts "I'm in a spot where your payment to YHN is at the bottom of my list...if you feel you've been mistreated by my wife there is no compensation for that...don't bother me again". BBB - this has nothing to do with being mistreated by his wife. I don't know her. It's about paying for something my son did not receive & poor communication during the season. I have emails/text if you want.
