      Hired Carrara Marble to install countertop. End of Jan 2025 *** Eveely comes to template for countertops.2/14/25 Carrara come to install counters. Installers cant get large piece up stairs or elevator. *** comes to go over how to fix. Only option is to seam it. They will not pay for lift even though they measured and should have know . Cannot be cut and installed that day. Informed *** we are away next week. Our contractor states he can be thereto oversee install 3/21. Came to install, had 2 seams done with epoxy when our contractor noticed it wasnt cut right. Worker at some point during day was coming from guest bath that was not hooked up due to new floors looking for working bathroom. Carrara remove 3 pieces that were cut wrong stated Would need to get new slab and recut and come back next week. When homeowner arrived back home the following Monday noticed shoe prints that wouldnt come off new flooring. Contracted stated it was epoxy. Called Hadingers to see what could be used on it. *** from Carrara came to try to remove, was able to get some up, but not all of it ******** recommended to remove large are so that board tabs were not cut and glued. *** is now stating it is too much and will not pay it. Discussed that we may be contacting a lawyer if needed. *** stated to homeowners that he would make this right. Company never uses drop clothes, even after telling him of this they put down drop cloths the 3rd time only in hallway, not in kitchen where installers were mixing the epoxy
