My house has 49 electric shutters. Each shutter has its own switch thus a wall of switches that are labeled poorly from a pervious owner. I had one shutter stuck down in my living room so I called to have this repaired and to get a quote to have them all serviced. Upon arrival, I walked the technicians around my house showing them all the shutters and also showing them the one that was stuck in the downward position. *The technicians were flipping switches up and down when repairing the one living room window. * Upon leaving I was happy they fixed the one window that was the issue *Today ( A week later) I went to open all my inside wooden shutter blinds to get light into the house and notice they put and left down one outside electric shutter on the backside of the house ( outside the office).* I put all the switches in the open position yet this shutter will not open.*When I call and let them know I did pay the $200 for my service yet they left me with an equal problem they let me know its on me and not on them as my shutters are older.** I did NOT close this shutter and I have no idea what all they did or did not do to it for it to be stuck down ************** is refusing to repair this shutter their technicians placed down I am requesting my $200 be refunded as they arrived with one shutter stuck and they left with another shutter stuck that they put down and got stuck.

Hello **********************************(owner) hope you and your family are safe after the hurricane,I'm sorry to hear about this issue that you have with your shutter, according to our records show that owner called Friday September 30th early afternoon requesting a service for shutter that wasn't going down, we provided owner with our fees and we send our technicians right away, our technicians arrived around 3:30pm to your property, owner walk then trought the shutter that need it to be fix ,which according to the technician report, shutter was rolled inside the box located in the master bedroom, technician opened the box and put the slats back in to the tracks after they finish repairing shutter#1 they opened up a sliding door shutter right next to the one they fixed, Power back up switch was on preventing the shutter to operate with the wall switch(could it been press by mistake by owner operator) power back up switch was unable for operation of shutter and shutter was fixed, our technicians were ask to check all shutters by owner ,owner was told that technicians wouldn't have the time to repair all shutters that we had to reschedule, cleaning and lubrication was offered since the shutters had no sign of  ever been service, technician took measurements and didn't operate any other shutters also was mentioned to owner of couple other shutters were also rolled inside the box, all shutters where up when our technicians left the property.

On October,7 owner called after  we send her a stimate via email for the cleaning and lubrication which it was going to be the best way to know if something was wrong with any other shutters since most of the parts are concealed , owner  mentioned one shutter was down also mentioned owner had en electrician  working on the brakers , we mentioned that our closes  opening was on 21st or 23rd that we can go and fixed it and also was advised to owner that might be the back up power switch that it's turn on and probably that was the problem it was ask to please try that before, but owner denied to do it ,Service was offered to do it but it was rejected,  it was told to owner that if motor was bad, it will need to be replaced and we have to charge for parts and labor ,it was told to owner even if we operate the switch to put the shutter down or up we are not liable if the motor goes bad on the action of checking. most of the time motors start losing strength little by little until they give up when they have to lift the whole weight of the shutter.

Service fee was charged and paid couple hours before owner called and complained. fee was for the repair of two shutters  all of the other were only measured.

An appointment was offered by AWHP for the 21st or after and it was declined ,answer by owner was, I preferred to call another company to fixed it.

On this time of crisis after the hurricane we try our best to be quick responsive to repairs and shutter needs of our clients.

Attached are pictures of all shutters on the open position before our technicians left the property .

    *******************************************

We Hope it's understandable that a job was done properly, and no damage was done by AWHP to any of this shutters.
