    I bought a mini split system from them nine months ago and when I bought it, they sold me a warranty for one year wouldnt giveme paperwork for the warranty when I bought it, but told me if I had any problems just to bring it back and they will replace it. I just brought it back and they will not help me, they are trying to tell me they can warranty parts but not the whole unit, but when I bought it thats what I was told to do is bring it back. So i am just screwed.

    I ordered a mini split ******* unit from Gonichea in ****** *******. I order this unit directly off their website. This order was placed on July 29, 2022, and we received the unit about 2 weeks later. We had a professional AC Company, ********************* install the unit, and upon installation they received an error message stating the outside unit fan was not working. They have since tried to determine what the issue is and have not been able to pinpoint why the fan nor the compressor will turn on when the unit is set to cool. They have advised us that the unit is defective and condemned/ inoperable. We have been in contact daily with Gonichea about having the unit replaced by them as we bought it directly from them and they refuse to replace the unit. They state we need to call tech support that was done and they could not help, then they stated we need to call the manufacture. They can not help as the unit should still be covered under the company we bought it from. The owners wife has been in constant contact with me via text message and will not provide a refund or a replacement unit. She constantly keeps stating that they have never heard of a unit not working when it is new. We do not know what our next steps are and would like this outside unit replaced or a full refund at this time as these units are not cheap. This company has horrible customer service and is not willing to stand behind the product they are selling. They told us we bought the unit it is our responsibility to replace it even though it has been less than 30 days since purchase and we have been in constant contact with them since purchase/install about it being defective.
