    **** with Premier Roofing was under contract to repair our roof, lanai and interior damaged due to hurricane ***. We provided a deposit of $8500.00. Without notice shown notified us via text message that he was backing out of the contract. We asked him to return our deposit and he agreed to return the deposit in 3 days. That was 3 weeks ago and **** and his office will not respond to our calls, emails or texts. We feel we have been scammed.

    I would first like to say Im sorry that you feel youve been scammed, second I did cancel the contract and agree to return your deposit however there was never a 3 day timeframe in which to do so . I agreed to return it as soon as possible which I have. I have include the receipt to ease your mind. If theres anything else I can do please let me know. Good luck to you both!!

    I am rejecting this response because we have not received our deposit refund, there was no receipt attached to prove a refund had been issued. Contrary to ***** response on January *************************************************************** addition **** failed to respond to numerous attempts asking him to contact us. This only added to the stress we experienced when he unilaterally cancelled our contract (via a text message) any real professional would have done this in person with the deposit refund in hand. We have not received the refund nor have we received any evidence that the refund is in transit. **** needs only to contact us and ********* the refund to us without delay instead of his repeated stalling tactics.

    We have received a refund check from Premier Roofing and are waiting for the bank to clear the deposit, expect to know within the next week.
