    Not a trustworthy vendor I hired them after Hurricane *** came by gave me a quote and stated they would be able to start within 6 to 8 months, They required an $8000 deposit. I contacted them after nine months and they told me it would be at least another three months before they could get out to do the repairs . My upstairs lanai needed to be repaired, and I called them after a year and they finally came out and repaired that because it was a hazard where people could fall off the porch. The upstairs and night area was subpar work was done. The screening was not Tight and a craftsmanship was subpar. They charge me $9200 for the upstairs lanai and said they were not sure when they be able to get the pool cage done at that point after seeing the workmanship on my lanai I decided to cancel the pool cage and ask for my $8000 refund to which they replied they would have to check with the owner to see if we can get our money back going for two months back-and-forth for two months. They told us they could refund us $4000 because of the engineering fees and permits, I asked for copies of the engineering permits and the county permits which they never supplied, which believes me they were never done. So basically I was charged $13,000 for 20 x 8 screen enclosure for porch. This company took advantage of a bad situation and made it worse.

    Upon review of your profile it looks like you were given a quote for an open view enclosure, open view doors, and an integrated railing enclosure for the upper balcony. A deposit for that estimate was given, the deposit amount given was $7000 which we received on December 8th, 2022. The upper balcony integrated railing was installed on May 18th and 19th, and at that time another payment of $6,075 was sent in to take care of the finished integrated railing portion, that portion of the job was $8,100 that you had originally agreed too. At that time, it was requested for the enclosure to not have a permit pulled and for the enclosure project to be placed on hold due to waiting on insurance reimbursement, so we placed the project on hold until we received confirmation that the project was ready to move forward. In April 2024, we were asked to return the deposit that was given due to the insurance reimbursement not going through. At that time, we were paid $13,075, we completed $8,100 of the work that was signed, leaving $4,975 of the deposit to go towards the enclosure. Our company agreed to a partial refund of $4,000 due to our company obtaining engineering plans for the project and the company time that went into preparing the job behind the scenes, so we did hold $975 of the deposit due to the fees we acquired as a company. Our company policy does state deposits are non-refundable, which is stated on the estimate that was signed for the project so we were very accommodating to the refund request as we were understanding the job was being cancelled due to insurance issues. The refund check of $4000 was cut on 4/5/2024 and mailed out the following day.
