    I made a reservation at Emerald RV park on February 1 for March 3-5. I get there on March 3 rd to find that they booked me for February 3-5. I paid a deposit of $167.20 which they said they would not refund or work with me. They said it was my mistake. I drove 1300 miles to find that they booked the wrong dates. The receptionist was very rude, uncooperative and said their camp ground was not fit for us and asked us to leave.

    As we informed Mr ******* when he came into the office with his confirmation sheet; he made his reservation for 2/3/25 to 2/6/25 on 2/1/25.  We showed him that he made it online and it was not touched until 2/5/25 when we cancelled it out as a No Show. We took a two night deposit of $160 and held the site for him; which meant that we could not rent it out. The additional $7.20 is the non-refundable booking fee that is outlined when an online reservation is made. Per our online agreements and our confirmation email, all deposit are forfeited if you are a No Show. He was asked to leave the park because he wanted to continue to argue that this was our mistake and he would not be rebooking.  Please see attached screen shots showing where he made it online (ON) and at what time and that he opened his confirmation email a few minutes after receiving it on 2/1/25 and then opened it again on 2/23/25.  We have also attached a copy of the confirmation email that was sent to him. It is the guests responsibility to ensure they are booking the correct dates. Due to this mistake being on Mr ****** and not the park, we will not be refunding him.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    they responded and said that I’m the one that made the reservation but let’s not forget. I made the reservation on their site. Their site is the one that made the mistake regardless of the point of what happened. I was not a no-show. I was there one month after the supposed reservation date so for the good of how people should be they should’ve at least refunded half of the deposit seeing that well there was a mistake made whether it was on their fault or my fault and as far as arguing I never argued or raise my voice once this lady was rude disrespectful from the time that I walked in the door I would not have drove 1300 miles and showed up at a place that I was at a no-show so I will leave more reviews and I will let everybody know going down south don’t go to that place obviously I should’ve read the reviews because after now reading reviews I’m not the only one that they’ve been rude to that they’ve took their money extra charges and they do have a reputation. I was able to go to Geronimo RV park who are super people and theyvtold me that they’re known for doing that so next time I’ll read the reviews I also did not receive any phone calls emails for a no-show.
