  10/20/2022 I paid Outlet Tires Brakes and Mufflers Corp $315.65 to install a brand new Flow Master muffler on my ***************************************************** used muffler. I specifically asked for the Flow Master brand. They are refusing to give me the model number, serial number, or any other information on the muffler. Refusing to give me an invoice. They used a display muffler and I have asked twice for this information with no response. I was told to bring my car back in and they will show me that it is not a used part, not buying it. There is NO embossed logo on the muffler, no serial number, nothing.All Flow master ********************** feature their logo embossed into the case. It's your only guarantee you're getting real Flow master performance, sound, quality, and warranty.www.******.com.Outlet Tires *********************************************** are liars, and scammers, and very unprofessional. I want a full refund of the total price charged, $315.65. I now have to go somewhere else and have the right muffler installed.

  To whom it may concern we are outlet tires brakes and muffler did not sell to mrs ****** a used muffler, which was the original complaint in the email, she was sold a brand new thunderbolt muffler part#TB4553 my muffler universal aftermarket performance mufflers, they do not come with a serial number or Vin number, just a part number. We informed her that if she believed it was not a brand new muffler she was more than welcome to come down here to have her car brought up in the air to get the part number and to show her proof that it was a new muffler in person in person but she has refused to show up. We are more than happy to help her with whatever she needed but she has not been cooperative with us for the proof she has been asking for. So in conclusion we would like her to come down in person like we asked prior to her email so we can give her the proof she is asking for too help the situation If any questions that The Better Business Bureau might have please feel free to call us at ************.

  I am rejecting this response because: I specifically told him and asked for the Flow Master *******. Originally, I thought he had installed a used muffler, in doing my research, found that he in fact did not install the brand I asked for. So, this goes beyond my original complaint to Outlet Mufflers of installing a used muffler. He lied directly to my face. When I saw him take the muffler off the shelf, I asked him if that was a Flow Master muffler and he said yes. Now he's admitted to BBB that he in fact installed a different brand. I want my full refund of the amount paid to him. I didn't pay for a knockoff brand, I paid for the top-of-the-line brand, which is Flow Master.

  We are Outlet tires are very sorry ****** was not happy with what she received but unfortunately this can happen. Along with that Miss ****** never requested any particular muffler, her request was that she wanted something with performance and sound. There was never any talk of certain brands or series of brands, just a simple request of more sound and performance which is what she received. We are always happy to provide the customer anything specific to what they are asking for without a doubt, but unfortunately in this case Miss ****** did not mention or ask for any specific brands. we reached out to Miss ****** through email multiple times to bring her here to prove her first claim that we had not installed a new muffler, but a used muffler, to which she did not respond, Later Miss ****** claimed that we did not put the proper muffler that she had asked for which is false, which was never mentioned in her original email complaint. We at outlet tires brakes and muffler are more than happy to continue trying to help ****** with her issue or any other needs in the future if she will be willing to receive it. Thank you BBB

  I am rejecting this response because, I absolutely requested the Flow Master brand. I told him that I had looked up the information on Flow Master mufflers and that I had listened to a video of the sound that it produced. I found the company website and found the exact fitment for my car. The only other muffler brand mentioned was ********* and in comparison, he said was a quieter muffler than Flow Master brand. 
  And again, he said that he had Flow Master in stock, and when he took the unboxed muffler off of the shelf in the waiting area, I asked him if that was a Flow Master and he said yes! He's lying through his teeth now, just as he did the day he installed the knockoff muffler. He continues to practice dishonesty in his business dealings, still demonstrating his poor work ethic and absence of quality of character. I requested the Flow Master brand, that was what he priced, and that is what he told me he had in stock, and what he was installing. I contacted him through his website that very afternoon, I knew in my gut that something wasn't right and, in my research, found out that he lied to my face, and he is lying to you too.
