Dune Buggy was brought in because it stalled and then wouldn't start, issue with directional-brake lights, pulled to the right.Once he addressed issues & we paid over $550 for the repairs (car still pulls to the right), when we arrived we found gasoline dribbled down the ********* ate through the paint. He tells my partner that gasoline spewed out the fuel hole (located on car hood), while blowing air through a gas line. Gasoline is a corrosive material and I asked why he wasn't proactive & protected the hood when working around a gasoline tank which is on the hood and pressurized air, or at least wiped it off after it spewed, & he should do something to fix it. He states it was an accident & can't do anything. I was not asking for a whole car paint job - only that one area damaged by him and he refused. He stated because it was an accident, & not intentional he believes he does not need to correct the damage. He did absolutely NOTHING to try and repair the damage he did. In my life, if I make a mistake at work, I take steps to rectify & not say it was an accident & do nothing. Humans do make mistakes, but decent ones also hold themselves to fixing it. Accountability is something this business owner lacks. He also tries to remove any blame to himself by saying the area damaged is spray paint - regardless of whatever type of paint is on a car - Gasoline damages paint - and he should have done something to fix the damage he caused.I left a negative review on ****** Review, & in his attempt to discredit me, his response was he provided $1000 of work on that car at no charge. Who the heck would give someone $1000 worth of work for free???? He also stated: "Unfortunately I did everything I can to resolve this issue and fix it, but unfortunately I cannot please everyone and i cannot fix spray paint as its not the proper way to paint a car"" What???? He did NOTHING to resolve the issue with the gasoline damage to the paint, so how can he say that???
