*** hired 2men and a truck on 7/11/24 to moved me my furniture and other items to my new home, Im a senior dont moved that fast , so it has taking me some time to unpack, Ive notice some stuff, missing, like some jewelry that friends had giving me thu the yrs, love to craft, missing all my paint brushes, had brought lots of batteries from Amazon, and today Ive cannot find my white dvd player , Ive did called the office to complain, **** was apologetic, but still Ive paid $800 dollars to b moved not to b stolen things that have emotional meanings to me, Im on a income , who knows what else they took, you can remember everything until you start to look for it! Ohh also had a beautiful ?? to put outside that lit up also gone! We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused to ***************. Her movers, ***** and ****** have approximately 10 years' worth of moving experience between the two of them including over 500 moves total. They are in and out of homes every day and we have never had anyone accuse them of theft. We take accusations like this very seriously. All of our movers have been trained through our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system and have had a criminal history background check and drug test completed prior to employment. ******************* move occurred almost two months ago. It sounds like she is not done unpacking yet? Is it possible that some of the items that are missing are still in a box somewhere at her residence? As a goodwill gesture, we would be willing to send our Operations Manager to ******************* home to see if we can attempt to locate the missing items and to assist her with some unpacking of boxes. Once again, we are truly sorry for this. I assure you that our crews are only interested in making our customers happy and not stealing from them. Thank you.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:Ive just read their response, and they seem to be extremely concerned about their business, and Ive dont blame them. Im sorry that this simple thing had to happen, they dont need to come to my home to check any boxes, since everything is done unpacking, Im a very organized person, Im so sorry for the inconvenience, but these things do happen, its the principle of it! Im not looking for any money to b reimburse for the small things, its just the point I was trying to make, so Im going to leave it at that! Thank you for your kindness, and response. Next time Ive just have to be more careful when unpacking and packing my stuff, so Im going to leave it as that. Im to old and stressful at my age, the complaint is done, Im not going any further with this, have a blessed day!!

I was quoted an estimate for a treadmill to be moved from a house to a 3rd floor apt. I advised the company that the treadmill was very heavy and that the movers needed to be able to lift a lot of weight. They assigned 2 movers and told me it would cost between $322-470. I even sent them the exact weight of the treadmill. One of the movers they sent was very skinny and short. When they got to the apartment complex to move the treadmill up 3 floors, I received a call and they said it was too heavy for 2 people and that they needed a 3rd person and that they would have 3 people move it the next day. They also said there was a problem with the handrails. The next day 2 men came out and moved it up the 3 floors. They didnt send the 3 people they said they were going to and there was no issue with the railing. There was an issue with it getting inside the door, however they would not have known that the previous day. That wasnt really an issue because the console just needed to be unscrewed so it would fit through the door.The fact that they only sent out 2 men on the second day shows that they didnt have the correct manpower to move it on the first day. I dont think I should be charged extra because of their mistake of not sending the right type of movers on the first day.Its not a lot of money that they are charging extra but its more the point that they were very dishonest and unethical doing business and charging me extra money for a second day to move the item.The attached estimate shows it was $322-470 that I was expecting to pay but they ended up charging me $581.Business Response

We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused you. Please know that our movers go through a very rigorous training process prior to their employment and throughout their employments, Some of our smallest movers are our strongest movers. There are some items that we come across which entail special attention. In this case with the treadmill, the 3rd floor apartment had a very narrow staircase that was extremely difficult to maneuver. When it was determined that our two movers were not going to be able to handle the treadmill on Day #1, we immediately notified you and made you aware that our Operations Manager would need to come out and handle this item the very next day. The next day our Operations Manager along with an assistant moved the treadmill to the desired location. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience. Please know that we did our best for you. We communicated with you every step of the way. There was no extra charge for the handling of the treadmill. The estimate that we provided you was solely an estimate. Your estimate was purely based on the time it took to complete the move. You were not charged for us coming back out on Day #2 to complete the job/treadmill. I am rejecting this response because the company is continuing to be dishonest. I was quoted a rate for 1.5 to 2.5 hours to have a treadmill moved from my house to a 3rd floor apartment. ****** maps shows it is a 28 mile drive and I understand I was billed for round trip. The treadmill was moved out of our house in 10 minutes by 3 men. For some reason, Two Men and a Truck only sent 2 men to the apartment complex destination. The two times I recently checked on ****** maps, it showed 33 minutes and 38 minutes for a one-way trip. Even if it was 45 minutes for one way, that would total an hour and a half driving time. Since it took only 10 minutes to move it out of our house and onto the truck, that would leave 50 minutes to move it 3 floors. I understand the console needed to be removed which probably took less than 5 minutes. So I don't understand why the company is stating that they had to send 2 people out for a second day and charge me more that the 2.5 original estimate that they quoted me. It is even stated in the company's response that they had determined that their 2 movers they sent out the first day couldn't handle the move. That is not a reason to charge me more than the 2.5 hours estimate I had agreed upon. This is supposed to be a professional moving company and they are relied upon to know what is required in a paid and professional move. If the company needed measurements of the steps or the railing, they should have asked for it in advance. They were completely aware that this was a heavy and large item. I am still very upset that they are charging more than the agreed upon estimate and think this is very unfair of the company.

They quoted me about $700 and the cost doubled. I didnt care about that though. They damaged my furniture, but I didnt care about that. They damaged my new apartment, but I didnt care about that. I just wanted them to end their day. I even helped them unload their truck. I didnt make them carry things up the third level where they belonged. Only to find they stole my laptop. And management offers no compensation for it. It was dismissed. And I shared my story on social media and others have had similar experiences. Its unethical and unlawful. On October 6, 2022, ****************** hired our service to move his items from *********************, ** to *****************, **. When our movers arrived that morning they noticed that there was significantly more items than what ****************** mentioned during his original phone call. At that time we informed ****************** that his job would take longer because there was additional items to be moved. On October 9,2022, three days later ****************** notified us that he was missing a laptop. At that time we urged ****************** to call the ******************* and file a claim and that we would also be performing an internal investigation with the movers. We immediately checked our camera system and did not see anything out of the ordinary when our movers returned back to the office that day. After our internal investigation we found that it would have been very difficult for our movers to steal the laptop because ****************** had the laptop in a secured area in a separate room and that he was with the movers the entire day. We once again urged ****************** to notify the ******************* and we would 100% cooperate with the investigation. To this day we have not heard anything from ****************** or The *******************. All of our movers go through a thorough criminal history background check as well as 5-panel drug test prior to employment. We perform over 900 moves a month, we take theft accusations very seriously. ****% of the time a customer cannot find a certain item, they undoubtedly call back to inform us that they have located the item. I think that it is also important to note that ****************** signed a Release Of Liability on all of his items because he did not want our movers to pad his items.

I am rejecting this response because:This is laughable. The laptop was on top of the desk that they just started removing monitors and cables without my consent. I just turned around and they were detangling cables. Also, I did sign a document that one of the Mannys asked me to sign because he said it would take too much time to wrap my stuff. As previously stated, I dont care about that. Yes, they damaged my stuff as well as the new apartment that I moved into. One of the Mannys stated that I was supposed to sign a release for that as well, but didnt. I didnt care. I will fix it. I actually felt bad for the poor guys. Fact of the matter is, all I cared about that day and still today is my laptop was taken. I just wanted it back or to be compensated for it. The fact that they are defending this is laughable. They hired thieves and want to continue sending them out into peoples homes to do it again. Its unethical at best. Please refund me for my service. Further, no one instructed me to file a report with anyone. I did that on my on accord. Its common sense. It doesnt change the fact that your associates took it, and youre defending it. Why would I make this up? And cameras? Those gentelmen had a cooler as well as a bag with other items inside. They could have easily placed it into one of them. Please have some decency and give me my money back without making me have to battle you for this. *****, its the least you could do. I dont know if its poor leadership or what but its not just the *** location. I posted this on social media and dozens of others have said the same thing throughout the state. Its no coincidence. You didnt do enough. And I called the next day but no one answered so I called Saturday and left a message. I sent one of your Mannys a message because he blocked me from my 727 number. Why? Why would he do that and then pretend that his phone died but still managed to call me. Did you give him my number? If so, why would you do that knowing Im accusing him of taking my belongings? Then I called him from my other cell phone and got no response so I messaged him and got no response. Sir, I dont know if youre the snake or the Mannys are, but you have an obligation to your customer. This is bad business. Youd rather have me keep posting things and filing complaints as opposed to just refunding me the $1331 that I paid potentially losing so much more.

I had a 1000 sq foot home. Took 11 hours to load and unload to the tune of $1700 and my move was only 30 minutes away! My son and I had to make 3 trips back to my old house to pick up all the stuff the movers did not and would not take! My nerves were shot! Never would I recommend this company nor use this company again. The manager called me and was to get back with me, but he never called again. I requested a refund for a few hundred dollars due to the fact that they left lots of my belongings. I also had to dump my office chair since there was no room on the truck and I could not load it into my small car. I am out a $250 chair plus the money they charged to move me in excess of my quote of 1200$. Not happy! I will do everything in my power to put down 2 Men and a Truck. Do not use this company. They are incompetent and totally unprofessional, not to mention cheaters and way over priced. I would give them 0 zero stars. Stupid, they kept asking, "Is this going?" When we arrived to Ms. ******'s home on 8-17-22 our movers immediately called our Operations Management letting us know that this customer was not packed up and ready to be moved. There were several miscellaneous items that should have been packed into boxes but were not. To help the customer out, our manager hand delivered a Speed Pack to the crew which they were able to put all of the miscellaneous items in. Ms. ******'s move was estimated at 9 hours and the total move took 11 hours. This extra 2 hours came as a result of our customer not being packed up and organized the morning of her move. This may have been caused by poor communication with Ms. ****** during our In-Home Consultation, however we do our best to tell each and every customer that is extremely important that all small items are boxed up and ready for us prior to us arriving or their estimates will increase. To make this customer satisfied, were able to recover the chair that she referenced. When we offered to return the chair to her she said the she no longer wanted the chair because her dogs had gotten ahold of it and it was in poor condition. Also, as a goodwill gesture we have refunded Ms. ******'s credit 1-hour-$143. We have spoken to Ms. ****** several times over the past few days and from what we can tell she is satisfied with our goodwill gesture. Yes, they refunded $143, but I was not at all happy with their "good will gesture". I had every box marked where it should go. I am 72 and alone. They stacked huge, heavy, boxes on top of each other, making it impossible for me to reach and take down. Dumped everything into my garage haphazardly. Never again would I use them or recommend them. At this time we are not willing to go above and beyond the $143 that we have already refunded Ms. ******.
