    Contractor has not delivered three screens for the windows he installed and we paid for. Our Condo is located at **************************************. We have made several trips to ******* and have text messages from ************ with his promise to deliver the screens. ************ is now stating that we advised him that we did not want the screens (which we paid for) and that statement is totally untrue.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this PROMISED resolution is satisfactory to me.  However, i do not want this claim closed until we receive delivery of the promised paid for items.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Mr. **** has not yet delivered our kitchen screen as promised in August.  I did sent him another text this week asking for an update, however have had no response. 

     

    Please advise on how to handle this situation as this is extremely frustrating.

    This response was taken verbally by the BBB:

    We replace in July and we sent the consumer pictures. Since then there have been 2 Hurricanes and consumer did not take her screens out. We believe that the screen blew away in the storm. We will be happy to reorder a new screen for the consumer at the cost of $50.00. It will take 4-6 weeks to come in.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    We were at the condo during the storm and we had no damage whatsoever . The screen was never installed in our kitchen window prior to the storm, so how could it have blown away?.!!! 

     

    We received a text from him on September 23, 2024 stating the screen had arrived and would be installed that week . It never was.

    We would like either the screen or our money back.  We are senior citizens on a fixed income and are being treated unfairly.
