    I paid $1650.00 down for for a patio that was never done!

    On April 5, 2023 I made a 50% deposit of $7,192.50 with Serene Pavers & Stonescapes Inc for a project at my property. Our signed agreement indicated a June 21, 2023 start date. The project did not start on June 21, 2023 and after multiple excuses and reschedules no work was ever done, no material was ever delivered. On October 16,2023 Serene Pavers closed their office. I received no notification from Serene Pavers regarding it's closure and no offer of recourse regarding a refund of my deposit. I am in the process of sending certified letters to the Serene address as required by the New Smyrna Beach Building Department (to void the permit) and the New Smyrna Beach Police Department (to open a criminal Investigation)

    On July 11, 2023 I made a 50% deposit of $8,114 for the purchase and install of pavers for my deck and walkway at my home: **** ******** ***** **** ******* ***  Agreement said work would begin October 31. This was confirmed by email from employee on September 5, 2023.
    On October 20 I saw ******** post showing letter posted on Serene front door that they had "shut their doors". I was not notified by Serene and have not heard from them.
    My best outcome is that my $8,114 be refunded

    Contracted with Serene Pavers fora patio and Firepit on August 30, 2023 and provided a downpayment. Serene has closed its operations and has not returned our downpayment. They are not answering phone or replying to emails so have no way of finding out if they will be returning our good faith deposit.

    A contract was signed to order pavers and install them on a patio. A deposit of $4000 was given in April for work to start in June. The project was delayed over and over until mid October when the business was closed by the owners. The business took the money of other people as well and the owners disappeared and do not reply to calls and emails.
    The owner's name is Eric B********* and Denise G************* is listed on the LLC as well. Ashley N****** G***** is listed on his *** **** ***** ****** *** in Cody, Wy.

    We put a $1500 deposit down for paver install. The business closed 1 day before the install. They will not contact us for a refund.

    A 50% deposit of $1,850 was paid on 10/10/2023 by personal check. On 10/13/23 was scheduled for project for 10/19/2023. No show day of project. No response to left messages by phone, email or through web site. Later in day of 10/19/23 received an email from an employee stating: "I am sorry to have to tell you this but Serene Pavers closed its doors on Monday October 16, 2023."

    In June, I contracted with Serene Pavers in NSB lic *********** for a paver patio in which they collected 50% down ($1,600). Install date has been pushed and for the past month/mo and 1/2, I was given 1 excuse after another (rain, couldn't get crushed stone, not enough ee). This week, it came to my attention they have a note on their door stating they tried, but haven't succeeded since covid and closed. The owner, Eric B*********, took $300k+ in COVID money, and per ** had a nice boat and now is residing on a nice ranch in WY. There are others that also paid money down and in same boat. As of Friday 10/13, they were still telling customers they could provide a quote. I am not sure of exact date the note was put on their door but it was sometime after that.

    Transaction date is Sept 19 2023. Serene Pavers requested 50% deposit on services to be provided. They failed to disclose they were or had filed for bankruptcy and had no intention of fulfilling said services. They will not answer phones or return text messages with any pertinent information. Customers around town are already starting to file claims against this business for fraudulent activity.

    The client has heard rumors that we are going bankrupt. He texted my personal phone after business hours while I was in the hospital. I did my best to respond, but he was not satisfied with the answer I was able to supply. Even after my answer he still texted and I was not in any condition to reply to his messages. Our company has not filed bankruptcy. We are currently in negation for new ownership. The client has not called our office line to talk to anyone during business hours on this matter. 

    Also, the clients job is scheduled till January. His contract is attached as well, as many text messages it would allow me to attach. There were 9 messages in total.
