September 2024 Did not complete the job as per signed contract. The remaining work that needed to be completed was quoted at an extra $10,000 dollars because they needed to bring in special equipment. This happened after they already started the job and were on schedule to finish in a couple of ******* a good will they decided to credit $750 for the work that was not completed which is 9% of the total paid. After finding out that they were not transparent on their $10, **************************** to go away I feel they have a responsibility to negotiate the credit due for not adhering to the contract they wrote.Just like everyone I shopped around using the reviews and The Tree shop appeared to be what I was looking for to clear my land. Goods reviews and many satisfied customers. In my case it did not work so well. In the beginning it was great. I was told to see the before and after videos on you tube showing what the transformation would look like when finished. I was even offered a loan to expedite the process. I was told that before and after pictures/videos would be taken and emailed to me the customer. This never happened, only 1 after picture showing the final product was sent, it only showed what they cut not what they did not want to cut. They left an approximate 3/4 acre uncut area and called it an addition to the buffer. They explained that this was too much work and they needed an excavator to complete the job at an additional fee of $5000 a day and it would be 2 days of work at $10,000 to finish what they did not want to work on as per the contract signed. They did not want to modify our contract to show the changes they made. They figured and decided that a credit of $750 was appropriate for what they could not complete but wanted $10,000 to complete it. $750 is 9% of what I paid for the total job, figure it out, they were not fair. They should have returned about 15-18% of the total paid. The complaint is from where did they get those numbers?
