    Very Very unprofessional to say the least. Gustin Cothern & Tucker Gave me a proposal (QUOTE) via email for my job . *****(Main office person) sent me the quote with copies sent to ***** ******, ***** ****** ******** all the main personnel/owners involved on June 1st 2023. I accepted their proposal. Called back to get the schedule multiple times. ****** said she has to get back with ***** and will get back with me. NEVER DID. Today July 28 2023 after my call to my surprise "the owner" calls me back and says he wants to give me another higher quote "HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL"....does not want to do the job ... recommends other surveyors..... to me. I have all quotes and emails to support this. Really really firm to deal with.

    On or about the First of June 2023, ***** ******* contacted Gustin, Cothern & Tucker, Inc. (this firm) by telephone. I answered the call and assisted with Mr. ********* request for a proposal to prepare a plat for recording on his land. During this conversation I notified Mr. ******* that Walton County would require a title report to complete the plat process. I brought the information provided to Allen Tucker, this firm’s President, to review and prepare his proposal. This proposal was sent to ***** ******* by email, on or about 19th of June 2023. At no time did this firm communicate a start date or notice of commencement for this project.
    Soon thereafter, I noticed that this firm had also prepared a proposal for the same tract of land and scope of work at the request of his engineer. That proposal was sent to said engineer on or about 17th of April 2023, but no response was received.
    Mr. ******* provided a Boundary survey of his parcel as prepared by another firm, dated approximately year 2000. During subsequent conversations of requested adjustments to scope and pricing, I was informed that said parcel was encumbered by a Conservation Easement and contained an un-permitted bridge therein. It was at this point that our surveyor became rather concerned. Mr. Anthony’s repeated requests to alter the proposal and delayed delivery of critical information left this firm perplexed and concerned about being forced into potential litigation arising from the unpermitted improvements in the Conservation Area.
    Conclusion:
    Mr. ******* is concerned that this firm did not convey its resignations in a timely manner. Gustin, Cothern & Tucker, Inc is apologetic that ***** ********s proposal could not be executed, as we believe this un-permitted structure and/or bridge over wetlands is a clear violation of the FDEP. Thus, putting this company and Surveyor at risk to licensure.

    I am really shocked to see the Response of Gustin Cothern & Tucker. Again highly unprofessional false Statement.
    GCT is saying” I have a Bridge with out permit “ A LIE
    My FDEP permit # is. 66-0158412-002 and with all paperwork it was constructed by ****** *********** co Niceville.
