    In regard to the complaint above. I Linda ******* was the representative of Simpler Carpet & Tile that personally went out to the residence of J.R. ******.  When arriving and discussing issues with the wood in the hallway and where to start the carpet and end the installation.  I expressed how I thought there was more sq yards than he originally had given Stephen (warehouse employee).   This would immediately change the price of the carpet job.  A majority of customers do not realize that carpet is manufactured in 12-foot rolls.  Therefore, if a room is 14.6 x 13.3 there will be a seam (additional carpet would be needed) based on this information 3 out of the 4 rooms would need additional carpet due to seams.  The other factor was tack strips that would need to be added to the areas that currently where hard surface as well as floor prep for the damage wood that had pieces missing and was not stable.  None of these issues were addressed over the phone.  

    When people call in or even if they are in the showroom until the actual property is measured all of the numbers discussed are just that, numbers.  I hate that Mr. ****** feels he has been misled but again, I knew immediately when I arrived at the house there was more square footage than disclosed and therefore more square footage equals more money.
