    I was on the ******** marketplace trying to find a side hustle second job to do at night to bring in some extra money to start financing my small business. There was a post that detailed a job posting that was remote and described a data entry- data processing-type job and asked for interested parties to comment. I commented interested and was instructed to download Telegram and to come back for an interview. Over the next two days I went through an evaluation and two lengthy, and detailed interviews, and the end of which I was offered a job which I accepted. I was given a list of materials that would be arriving at my house in the next 3-5 days including a laptop, an iPhone 14 pro *** for work use, a printer, scanner, copier, and several other items necessary to perform the job. It was requested that I give my ******** information, which I have heard of employers doing to make sure employees didnt post anything that would reflect badly on said company. I have it to them. After a few hours of conversation about the job I was to start the next week, I was asked to go buy a prepaid card that would be refunded by TEKCAPITAL and was to cover business expenses. When I tried to log in to my ******** thet evening I found out that my ******** account had been hacked and I had been locked out of my own account. ******** wouldnt even work with me to get back into the account because it showed this person as the rightful owner. I lost years of pictures, posts, and memories I will never get back. Plus I had bought a desk and chair for the job, and now it is useless. Im asking for compensation for the memories they stole from me and the desk and chair. $1100 in total. This was a breach of trust and an invasion of privacy and an all out attack on someone genuinely looking for a job. It takes credibility from ******** and other companies truly trying to recruit employees. I feel like the $1100 for the desk and chair are small in comparison to what they took from me.

    Hi, this is *********************** from Tekcapital we have been receiving several messages from people that have been scammed by people acting as recruiters hiring for our company. We have been trying to track the scammers with the information that people that have been scammed shared with ** but it has been almost impossible to stop them. We will continue to try to stop this from happening but we would like to first apologize with ***** for this inconvenience but we will never post our jobs on ******** or Telegram or similar platforms. We only post on our website, Indeed, ZipRecruiter and LinkedIn and any recruitment will be associated with my email.

    The Business posted a work from home job and got my information and trying to take over my identity and social media.

    Hello, the person you were communicating with on whatsapp does not work for Tekcapital, I am afraid that you may have been the victim of a phishing attempt. Tekcapital does not communicate with employees on whatsapp.
