We hired Worksite Leasing *** to handle our Payroll and **************** Our company is Veteran owned and operated and we hire Disabled Veterans, Homeless Veterans and Unemployed Veterans. They qualify for federal tax credits for our company and the paperwork has to be filed within 28 days of hire. Worksite failed to inform us or file the certifications with the 28 day time limit. We relied and paid for their professional expertise in payroll and payroll taxes to handle these matters and now we will not get the tax credits for hiring these wonderful Veterans. When confronted The **** ************************* first denied everything. Then when proof was found, she blamed us for their negligence. This gross negligence has cost us thousands of dollars! I have made several attempts to work this out with *****************************, COO at Worksite to no avail. I am seeking a release from the contract at the end of the 1st quarter of 2023 (Per Law) and a refund of all administrative fees they have or will collect from us in order to compensate us for their gross negligence and damages to a Veteran owned business. As a BBB Accredited business, we are asking for your support and intervention in this matter as they failed in the pledge they made to be accredited with the BBB.

We are a PEO, which means primarily that we process payroll for customers.  **************** had no issues with his payroll and rather is referring to the **** (work opportunity tax credits) a government program that rewards employers for hiring qualified candidates (veterans, the disabled, etc.).  **** is normally a service provided by a tax advisor.  Our process is to give clients a few months to become accustomed to our core services (payroll,HR, benefits and workers comp) before we discuss additional services like ****,and **************** did not mention to us at the start of our relationship that he intended to hire veterans, nor did he mention that to the intermediary that first spoke to *****************  ***** Mr. ******* expectations of the amount of the potential credit is unrealistic. There is no guarantee that his employees would have actually qualified, and the amount of the overall credit was likely to be less $1,500 because of the various legal criteria that must be met.  ****** and others tried to explain this and left multiple voicemails and emails to **************** with no response.  **************** recently asked in writing to be released from his contract early and we agreed to do so and have waived all early termination penalties.
