    We had Tim J of Tom Joyce Roofing replace our tile roof. We had used him many times for water leaks. We paid him a portion up front upon signing contract, never received a sample tile or brochure. He had his crew remove the old tiles, replace plywood where needed, and then put down underlayment. We did not see him, receive any call backs or answers to our texts for one whole week. After a week or so the crew returned and put down the tiles. At this point he said he wanted the remainder of the money we owed. The yard was never cleaned up, we had nails and tile pieces everywhere, a piece of soffit was still not put back, some of our pool cage screens were damaged and the roof had not been inspected by the county. We refused to pay until the job was completed and inspection conducted by the county. At this time he put a lien on our house due to lack of payment of the remainder we owed. The county did inspect and closed the permit. At this time we paid in full even though work remained to be completed. After over a month he finally released the lien. This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional projects we have ever had. This company is in no way recommended by us.

    Tom Joyce Roofing did our roof after the hurricane. They removed our old shingles and installed ice and water. It was on for 3 weeks before they came back to install our shingles. We had 2 leaks in our roof during that time. Once they installed the roof, it didnt pass inspection. They called to have it reinspected (four months later) Instead of meeting the Inspector on-site like they are supposed to, They came early in the morning, removed 2 shingles and left them on the ground. That was 3 weeks ago, the inspection didnt pass and the crew has been a no show. We have been reaching out to them on a regular basis. They keep saying they are coming, even set up an automated appointment, but still no show. They are not doing their job in a professional mannner
