      50% Deposit made on Jan 24, 2024 of $2,247.00 and now does not answer e-mails but did make two promises of completing the job weeks ago after I had to chase him down - nothing. No calls or contact as to getting the job done. Taking deposits and doing nothing is not bad business - it is fraud.. *********** salesman (***) was only responsive up to getting the deposit - then silence. I just want what was promised or a full refund of the deposit - immediately.

      I filed a BBB compliant about 2 years ago just before Thanksgiving about the poor workmanship that *** had. He is the least responsive contractor and truly is a scammer. 2 years ago I had done work with him and although took forever and dealing with someone that goes radio silent mid-job, it got done... On Thanksgiving day. Now, closing in on two years later, a hail storm hit our neighborhood this past May. The hail absolutely obliterated my awning (see photos). I've had an awning prior to this that lasted unscathed for 9 years - that's A LOT of hurricanes, tropical storms, bad ********, etc. This awning didn't last me TWO years. I reached out to ***, the contract is very cryptic and vague and says cover replacement warranty for rot, window (don't know what this means - if this meant wind or what?), and excessive fading. The fabric on this awning is low quality synthetic fabric that is packed with "colored sand", according to ***. He came out inspected it and said he will see if the manufacturer can send out new fabric BUT I would have to find a NEW contractor to pay and have it reinstalled because he won't install it. So, that conversation was now shy of 2 months ago - I have been expecting this UNCUT roll of synthetic fabric to be delivered to my house now "by tomorrow" 6+ weeks ago. Now *** does not respond anymore because I have called him out that there has been no such delivery, I don't appreciate that you're sending out a roll of uncut fabric, and for me to have to pay to have it replaced when it's your poor job to begin with and your responsibility to fix with your own product. This company has been a haunting to del with, and I truly regret buying their service to begin with. However, I am dealing with the consequences of an ignorant man who is just taking people's money and going off on vacation (he always says he is out of town). He pulls up in flashy cars and designer, yet shows no quality of work to make up for that.

       After 2 years of the job done, lady customer, call me. She said she had very bad storm. Coming with scent and dust and owning's cover have too much. Hold on, she asked if this is under warranty. So I said no, it's not an invisible damage. And she keep calling so I told her.  The only I can do to help you. I can give you a free fabric and you can pay the labor.

      I am rejecting this response because: *** promised to deliver new fabric at the very least. Although this is not the outcome I wanted because this is UNCUT fabric that does not have the necessary accessories to be installed, has and still not been delivered. If no fabric is intended to be sent then I would rather at the very bare minimum request to be refunded the cost of the fabric replacement.       If I may add, I do have a contract with a 5 year warranty on the awning material.

      We paid *** from Sunshine Awning and Canvas to recanvas awnings at our shopping center in *************, **. A few months after the estimated completion date, *** informed us the job was complete. However, after exploring everything further, we discovered he left one section incomplete. Initially, he claimed it was not included in the original scope. However, after much back and forth, and providing him the original contract and admitted his mistake... He said he would order the material and have it repaired immediately. Then for the next 6 months he kept saying it would be the next week, next week, next week. Until the past month when he stopped answering my calls all together. All I would like is for him to complete the job or refund us the amount remaining for the Mailbox canvas he did not finish.

      10/22 contract was signed. And deposit of $6,955 given..work completed a few weeks later. Payment of another $6, 955 paid The awning had several issues os leaks. After numerous texts and calls, the owner promised to repair and then ignored my requests for communication. Repairs NOT made and company ignores me completely.
