    I needed a windshield replacement on the leased vehicle (OEM). I called for the estimate and got the price for the aftermarket one as the price for the OEM part. My insurance sent a referral but Glass Doctor never informed me that the part that will be installed on my car is not the OEM part I requested. After the installation was completed I noticed that the windshield was an aftermarket one and asked what happened, they told me that it was a misunderstanding and that if I want the OEM one I need to pay for the second windshield and the installation cost. This shows how little they care for their customers. Whoever is looking at the reviews of this business needs to understand that this is the house glass business and car glass is the side work for them. This means that reviews are coming from house doors and windows and not from car installations. I wish someone told me this before I went to this place.

    The customer received what the insurance company approved which was an OEM part.  Please see invoice and approval from the insurance company.  He was not happy with the approval this is something he needs to take up with the insurance company. We did exactly what was approved by the insurance company, and this is an OEM part which is equivalent to a dealer windshield. 


    I am not sure exactly what they are wanting because they received exactly what the insurance company approved and paid for.
