On November 29th, 2021 I filled a claim with my home owners insurance for a water leak. *** ***** insurance hired Paul Davis Restorations to repair my home. In December they started work on my home. They worked sporatically and the first week in June a packing company packed out all my furnishings. On June 6th. I went to stay at a motel. On June 7th. I left the motel and went to stay with a friend because of a bug problem in my motel room. The work continued very slowly and in July the workers for Paul Davis treated my house for mold. While treating for mold the air vents were taped over and barriers were put in place for the rooms. The workers didn't turn off the airconditioner and the compressor on my airconditioner burned out. The workers went a week or more at a time without working on my home. When the walls were repaired in the bedroom the plaster work was so bad that I actually cried when I looked at it. I took pictures of it and complained to the workers and the insurance company. They finally repaired the walls. When my kitchen cupboards were installed they were mismeasured and now I have to walk sideways between the cupboards and the refrigerator to go through to the hallway. The owner of the company told me that this will be fixed while he was standing in the kitchen talking to me but it hasn"t been done and they want to move me back in with no heat or air and having to walk sideways to go through the kitchen into the hall. I was told that I would be back in my home by December 23rd, 2022. Now I am told that my home should be finished on January 24, 2023. I ask about the heat and air and was told that a letter had been sent to the insurance adjuster. Another thing that happened during this repair was my water bill kept going up each month with no one in the house. I had to pay $400.00 for a leak detection company to find out where the water was going. The workers were rinsing their tools with a hose out side and didn't turn the faucet off completely and it was watering the tree and ferns. I have been living out of my home for 7 months and there is no excuse for the time that has been wasted. I need help from someone to get back into my home. I will soon be 75 years old and I don't deserve to be treated this way. Anything that can be done will be much appreciated. I have pictures of the poor work that has been done,
