In any conflict, integrity and truth matter. Yes. A company is entitled to an opinion after 44 years in business, but they are not entitled to misrepresent facts to create market and conflict confusion. So. Let's start here: Let's address the time frame. The responder writes, "Everything was fine until about three months later..." Here are the facts: The original installation date was October 2nd, 2020; Suncoast's response suggests no notification of humidity occurred until January 2021. Here are the facts: I cannot change the fact that the company was notified, via written and verbal communication, that there was a humidity problem on October 6th, October 13th, and October 23rd, 2020. I cannot change the fact the branch manager acknowledged a humidity problem in a signed document on November 30th, 2020. Nor. Can I change the fact Suncoast was provided a home inspection report in Early December 2020, emphasizing the deficient workmanship, humidity, and air penetration into the attic.
I cannot change the fact that Suncoast attempted to address the deficiencies by removing foam and respraying the attic in December 2020; however, it did not resolve the issue, leading to two more inspection reports. Each report suggests the humidity problem will exist so long as the attic is not sealed. So. Let's address the A/C. I cannot change the fact that the A/C was replaced in September 2020 before the spray foam installation. I cannot change the fact Suncoast was contacted via written and verbal communication notifying them we had to replace the A/C before installation. I cannot change the fact when asked if the replacement of the A/C was going to be an issue, the company rep responded, "No ."The sad fact is we picked Suncoast Insulators because they were a family-owned and operated business with an excellent track record of success. My wife and I are both sad and upset that Suncoast would go as far as to misrepresent the time frame and event. I cannot change those two sad facts. What I can change is ensure this never happens to another consumer again. The resolution is simple: Seal the attic or Stand by.
wall. The **** proposed another plan which would alter the home's aesthetic qualities, and we request the **** Plan be written. ************** responded an insurance adjuster would contact us. The insurance company was provided the initial home inspector report, the blower door test report, an additional report produced by one of the industry experts on in-home climate, energy calculation reports, and the estimated cost to fix the problem: $120,000 of damages. Wilco Enterprises ******************* denied the claim because the damage to the home was caused by faulty craftsmanship-not an actual situation, such as backing a truck into our home or setting my house on fire. The bottom line is that Wilco Enterprise does not carry Omission and Error coverage covering faulty workmanship and only carries a minimum liability insurance policy. Wilco Enterprise is none responsive, and they have not finished the original Installation or honored their warranties. Please Help.Reports available.

First off I would like to say that we are a family owned and operated company that has been in business for 44 years in ***************. You don't stay in a business that long by Taking advantage of consumers. My answer to this complaint is very simple we went out and did an install of Spray Foam on an existing home. Before the crew went there the Salesman went out and took a look at the job before we sent the crew there. The crew sprayed the job. Everything was fine until about three months later we got a call that he was having an issue with humidity in the attic. I set an appointment and went out to check it out. I noticed that the air-conditioning units have been changed and ask the homeowner what had happened he said he got a crew to come and change the ** units out I said what company did you use because they need to size the units to fit the size of house you have and see what size they need to be for the Spray Foam application. When you do spray foam on a home whether it's new or not it does not take larger ** units than what it originally has. The homeowner informed me that they put bigger units in then what he had. When you do this to a home with Spray Foam it can make the air-conditioning units cool the house down much faster and not condition all the air in the home correctly, therefore making the home have more humidity. He also used a guy that works for an ** company and not the ** company itself. This may be why they have too big and too much tonnage of air conditioning going into the home. We did send a crew back out to remove the spray foam at the soffit and reseal it to make sure it was sealed correctly. This house will never be fixed correctly unless he changes the air conditioning units down to smaller units where they will have time to run long enough to condition the air the correct way. Or have them make the fans run long enough to condition the air correctly. What it comes down to on this is the homeowner changed out the air-conditioning units, After we did the install. Therefore changing the performance of the home. If they had used a reputable company to change those out, they would have sized the units correctly to work along with the Spray Foam. One other thing I noticed at the home when I was doing the evaluation is that this home is being used as a Fencing business. This is not good also the doors were opened and closed way too many times per hour, which brings in a lot of hot humid air. I tried talking to the homeowner about this but he did not want to hear any of it he had his mind made up already. He has a video of me at his kitchen table talking to him about it. When I did my evaluation I went into the attic and found no moisture on the surface of the spray foam, or any of the air-conditioning ducts, drywall etc. I have videos of all of this that I checked.
