I contracted Jhonny C Landscaping to do a paver extension and build a retention wall in the backyard of my property. I also hired him to add pavers to the inside of my birdcage enclosed screen structure. His employees sealed the paver inside the birdcage so thick, it was unable to be used. I had to pay another company $1,500.00 to fix his mess and it was deducted off his bill which he agreed as I have in text messages. The extended paver patio was build not level, no drainage and since we have had rain, the pillars and wall are now falling apart. Jhonny C did NOT concrete in the wall or drill holes for the pavers. I contacted him and he ghosted me until he found out that I was filing complaints with my HOA and the ****. Jhonny after weeks of ghosting said he would fix it for more money, the he would gas light as say he offered to fix when he didn't not. I have also discovered that Jhonny C should have known he was not qualified to put up a paver extension with a retaining wall as he was not a licensed architectural landscaper. That is the licensed professional that would have been qualified to do the job. I also believe the photographs he gave me saying he had done this kind of work before was not of his own, but just pulled off the internet. I texted Jhonny C, if he doesn't hire a licensed contractor to fix his mess then we had nothing to talk about, that was a week ago and he has never responded. I have received one estimate so far and it's for $10,000.00 to tear out his work and replace with property drainage, being level and securing the retaining wall and pillars with concrete. Jhonny C literally just set the pavers on the ground with no support and after I paid him, a couple of weeks later I noticed the loose pillars and the wall is not stable. Jhonny C has failed to take responsibility for what he has done and the thousands of dollars he has taken from me and never once told me that he was just going to set the wall pavers on the ground. I would of said no.

Im not sure what you are asking as I provided pictures and video when I made the initial complaint. He is responsible for paying a contractor to fix his mess and the fact that he is not a licensed architectural landscaper. Please advise what else you are looking for from the original complaint

Mrs. ***** contracted my company for a paver extension with retention wall and installation of pavers to her enclosed lanai. I do agree with Mrs. ***** that some, not all, of the sealant over the pavers in her lanai was too thick, the issue was minimal, and I explained that the puddles of thick sealant would go away after a couple of months. She did not want to wait and see if it would resolve so my team and I agreed to remove the existing sealant and replace it at no extra cost. The process to begin removing the existing sealant began two weeks after the issue was brought to my attention. The weather was not in our favor as it had rained, and the pavers were humid. I needed the pavers to be dry to finish sealing the pavers. The day the pavers in her lanai would be completed, Mrs. ***** let me know that she had hired another company to finish the job. I agreed to have the $1500 to be deducted from her total cost. I understood Mrs. ****** frustration and was willing to fix any issues, I agreed to the deduction on Aug 27th, and on Sept. 1st Mrs. ***** sent me a text message stating that I was circling her neighborhood three times, I explained to her via text that I had my company working on the other side of her house and even stopped by Mrs. ****** home so we can talk,as she had requested on Aug. 29th, I even ran into her walking her dog and we agreed to meet the next morning. She responded back via text and in her exact words stated, There was no one working over there yesterday. I think that you were in here trying to track me down. You are using my ability to come in this community. Mrs. ***** finished her text by saying she did not want me on her property except for the morning we agreed to meet up. I understand as a professional landscape designer and contractor that the columns to her retention wall needed to be cemented, however after Mrs. ***** told me to not step foot on her property and filing reports to ***, my company simply did what we were asked to do by Mrs. ***** and could not finish the job. There were threats to report my team to the police for not being a licensed architectural landscaper, but in the state of *******, this does not apply to my scope of work. I take full responsibility for the pillars and the work not being completed, I told Mrs. ***** I would fix it with the favor to not threaten me, she did not want me to return unless I hired another contractor. I am a contractor and cannot hire someone else to do a job I am willing and able to do at no cost.
